Today is the last day to pick your book for the person that was selected for you. So if you haven't recieved a selected title by the end of the day, I will try to work up a new selection with the remaining names.

So far I have

Jacob picks for Sarah
Aimee picks for Samantha
Bridgett picks for Cindrella
Sannie picks Aimee

So Sarah, Samantha and Cindrella I will make sure you have a pick by the end of the evening.

message 199: by Brooke (last edited Feb 05, 2012 01:26PM) (new)

Brooke (thecovercontessa) I just finished Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi . Stephanie (6) picked this book for me and I'm so glad she did! Here's my review (no spoiler information so I won't hide it! LOL). I look forward to perhaps doing this again next month!:
How can I explain the feelings this book brought about in me? I have to say, it was slow going at first and a little confusing. I didn't think I was going to like it. The language had me going back to the previous sentence or paragraph to completely understand what was going on. I was ready to really put it down in the second chapter, but I pushed on. And I am so glad I did. The characters were so well developed, I ached for them. Their thoughts, their words, their emotions were laid out so easily on the page. The author wrote with a singing quality; a quality the main female character possesses. The emotions were raw, so freely bringing out my own fears, doubts, and strengths. I wanted to see inside their minds, I wanted to feel what they were feeling, and Veronica Rossi did just that! I give this book 4 stars, only because I feel the beginning is a little slow going and could have been mapped out better. But all in all I really loved the characters, the description of the scenery, the way the chapters flowed, the way the sentences jumped right off the page. A great read for any person with a passion for YA fiction!
