It sure is! By the way - you have mail - check the top right hand corner of the home page - there'll be a little envelope next to your mug-shot.

Some interesting people on the Amazon Kindleboards - felt a little like being at work for me though!
Like bloody buses these book sales!!! Come on the weird Tollesbury book - all 77p of you!!!Dance, dance, wherever you may be; for I am the Lord of cheap wine said he!!!
Cheers Emma!!!!!!I haven't been this happy since we last won the Ashes from those pesky Aussies!!! 100 sales might not be much in the big scheme of things but in less than a couple of weeks I've reached my yearly target!! No off to the pub with me!!!
Yeah, having spent a year in Australia, they hate it when we beat them at anything!!! So chuffed for you x
Thank you Gingerlily!! I have not had so many x's since my spelling tests at school!! And, yeah Emma, there is something about beating the Aussies that brings out the worst in me!!The big test for Tollesbury Time Forever though is if Ignite likes it when she's finished it!
I'm reading it slowly - busy at the moment and Ma (aged 90) is in hospital - not looking good :( so my reading time is at a premium. Can't fault it though - it's wonderful so far!
Thank you so much for your kind words and continuing support. My thoughts are with you with regard to your Ma.
i singled it out on the KUF "any gems in today's free books" thread too... :)and also mentioned that i couldnt wait to start and am currently 7% through it reading in an ikle cloud window on my pc here at work... what the boss can't see etc etc :)
it is so far removed from the genre of book i normally read, but for some reason i am drawn to it and i have learned to just go with feelings like that and not question them !!!
you wouldn't believe how many people have said that to me!! I guess it must have something then!! Keep going!!
This confirms what I keep saying about Indie books Stuart. Mainstream publishers need to be able to coax a book into a genre to market and sell it. Indies don't so their books often cross the boundaries of genre to the great benefit of readers. I usually find if I go to the bit on the author's page which asks for me to tick which tags I think a book fits, there are so many. Publishing houses would have you change that and we readers would be so much the poorer.
This is all so strange for me. I always thought the book to be more or less unreadable to anybody but me - some of the reviews and comments are just beginning to sink in. And just to think I sent stuff to ten agents and got two standard responses, to five publishers and got no response at all. Going it alone just felt so right.
i got interrupted by my boss wanting me to actually do work ! not happy, i was enjoying losing myself in your wonderful descriptive prose...
which in itself is interesting cos i have issues with concentration which usually makes me run screaming from this sort of book! it is usually all i can do to hold on to the storyline when i read a book... it must be the way you write it :)
and i am really starting to empathise with Simon...
not long til home time...
Wow - just went all tingly!! Thank you!! Simon is wonderful (as you will discover!) Not too sure what the REAL Simon Gregory will make of it! (yes - there's just over a thousand people in Tollesbury and one happens to be called Simon Gregory!)
Ah, back on your own thread again! Not that we mind but sometimes it's hard to remember where you are! Hoping to get back to Tollesbury again tomorrow.
I know it's only the Free list, but number 7 in Literary Fiction here and number 39 in Literary Fiction in the USA is entirely unexpected!!!
Weird! They're increasing in america and reducing over here - something to do with the time of day maybe! Currently stands at, in the first 8 hours:227!
Thank you! Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings! (but then my memory is so bad, I wake up every day thinking it's going to be great!)
