Well Devil's advocate is all well and good, so long as members of this group bear in mind that if there is a debate, it's not going to sink into name calling. If we can have a good natured debate without anyone getting offended that would be ideal.

Hmm, yes,but I think in the interests of the group as a whole the DA,whoever it might be, and there can be more than one, is able to rationalise their statement, and not just say things to spark debate, such as 'Hitler, her really could have sorted the world out', bearing in mind what they did, while morally reprehensible, was also thoroughly rationalised; Germans were not, and are not idiots, and to convince educated, cultured people to support such a radical decision, there must surely have been an extremely persuasive rationale, which is something we're going to need if this DA idea is going to work, and spark healthy debate.
