Oh, crap, Marla! I am so, so sorry! I got too focused on all the stuff I had to do and totally forgot to pick for you! I feel awful! Thank you for pointing it out to me!

I pick Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella for you. I remember reading it several years ago and enjoying it! Again, I'm super sorry I forgot to pick for you!

LOL! Good to know that there are other trekkies here. :) And to answer your question, Trea. No, I haven't. Though I've heard only good things about Peter David (he wrote Imzadi too, didn't he?) I've read some TOS novels and the abandoned Abramverse Starfleet Academy series but no TNG books yet.

I got myself the complete TNG series DVD pack for my nameday present, watched a couple of my favourite episodes: Yesterday's Enterprise and Best of Both Words and now I'm in the mood for a Star Trek read.

Yep, he did, and it is another favorite of mine!

Q was my favorite in the show, so I'd been drawn to any Q books over the years. Peter David does an excellent job with him, and you throw Lwaxana Troi in the mix? A humorous tale of epic proportions! If you get a chance, read it! I highly recommend it! (And if you do, tell me what you think of the "Sell tickets." line!)

Zuzana | 1210 comments It's a deal! I'll make it my next read after somebody picks from my original 5.

Yesterday's Son (Star Trek The Yesterday Saga, #1) by A.C. Crispin Strangers from the Sky by Margaret Wander Bonanno Vendetta (Star Trek The Next Generation) by Peter David The Eyes of the Beholders (Star Trek The Next Generation, #13) by A.C. Crispin A Rock and a Hard Place (Star Trek The Next Generation, #10) by Peter David

I liked Q, too. I was really disappointed they never made a Next Gen movie featuring him. It could have been a fun ride (something along the lines of ST 4: The Voyage Home). IMO much better choice than Insurrection and Nemesis.
