I'm the same. I was reading (and really enjoying)
when I had a few busy days with the whole house selling and buying thing, and now I've lost momentum and can't seem to get back into it. I don't get it and it was stressing em out for a bit until I decided to just leave it for another little while and hopefully get back to it when the right mood strikes.

I've read it CaroB...it's my favorite Kinsella book! Cracks me up every time! It's worth the read for the opening scenes alone. Total fluff!
CaroB wrote: "I'm going to put it in the "Run the other way" shelf when I'm done."LMAO! Love that name, Caro!
~Megan~ wrote: "I love that book, Lisa Kay! Have you read
by her?"No, this is my first book by her, but it definitely won't be my last. Just loved it! Is that the one I should try next?
Lisa Kay - I LOVED
I found it so funny! It was actually recommended to be by another GR friend :)
I haven't read
If you all decide to do a buddy read, I'd love to join!?
Rameau, did you read
b/c you are planning on watching the remake of the movie? I checked it out (the movie) for one of my brothers-in-law, but we haven't watched it yet. Read the book years ago.

That's the only one I've ever read by her, and I'm not even a fan of contemps but I really liked that one, borrowed it from my stepmom a couple years ago. Made me lol more than once. :)

I'm enjoying it so far. I had to laugh when Peabody got all offended that Eve wouldn't let her shop while they were out investigating and yet Eve bought a necklace and Peabody called her on it and Eve said she wasn't shopping, she just bought something LOL
Yeah, that was funny, Susan! There is another funny shopping scene in
when the two of them go into a store to buy an item own/made by one of Roarke's companies. LOL!
just finished
loved it, I gave it 5 stars and I am very picky about giving out 5 stars. Awesome non-stop ride from start to finish.
Just finished
, which was highly enjoyable!Debating on what to start next....there are books I want to read, but I just can't get in the mood to read them at this moment. Does that make sense?
CaroB wrote: "Could we do
as a buddy read for next week? Or is that too soon?"Sounds good to me. What day, CaroB?

Makes heaps of sense! I get like that from time to time and I hate it. Feels like a friend is out of town and I don't know what to do with myself. Best thing is to just take a break and get back to reading when you come across a book you can't stay away from :-) Or read a genre you don't read often and see how you go.

Anyday next week suits me. I can do Monday if it's not too short notice for everyone?

You and Susan are making me want to read these, Mine came yesterday and i've been trying to be good and read the books i've already started but think i'm about to give in.
LOL! Oh, Elishia! This one is really something. I love how J.D.R. uses stuff she planted into the series way back at the beginning.BTW, are you going to listen to the audiobooks? They are EXCELLENT!
I've only read the first one going to start 2 now. No I haven't had any audiobooks yet i'll have to try one out and see what they're like.
Oh dear heavens, Lisa Kay! You're making me want to forget all about the schedule in the group I'm in reading these. I wanna get to where you are so I know what is going on! LOL
Elishia wrote: "I've only read the first one going to start 2 now. No I haven't had any audiobooks yet i'll have to try one out and see what they're like."The audio of these are great! I listened to the first one and have read the rest. I'm so glad you're liking the books, Elishia.

LOL"CaroB's doing a "Wing It" Challenge for July. All she is asking for is a pattern. I may do all J.D.R. LOL!
For those who are reading J.D. Robb, there is a yearlong challenge going on in another group. We are reading
this month. Here's the link to the thread. Anyone is welcome to stop by and chat. We are very friendly!!

Also, has anyone in this group read Stephanie Laurens? I'm contemplating re- reading her Cynster series. Just curious.
I've read almost all of the Cynster novels, Leslie. I used to read Devil's Bride about one a year. I kind of lost track of the series in the last year or two... but I do have Viscount Breckenridge to the Rescue I've been shuffling around in challenges.

I've only just started this series so if I catch up a bit i'll be over to join in the rest.
Leslie, I've read a few of the Cynster books by Stephanie Laurens. It's one of those series I need to get back to.
Lisa Kay wrote: "Just wanted to check, the RRRC group is on
this month?"yes, Lisa Kay, that is the one we read this month.
