I LOVE Game of Thrones! The books were fantastic and the show keeps pretty close to the storyline!

Thanks! I love MN, too! My heart is there always! My book takes place in ..."
Have you read Divergent by Veronica Roth? It's really good!

Hi Roda , Shawna, Jessica, and Jasmine, awesome to have you in this group!!! Valencia is a fantastic mod! Don't deny it V, you know you are!!! You all will love this group :)

I love baking, taking care of my chickens, and listening to music. My favorite book of all-time is Life of Pi.

I have yet to read that-but have meant to!

Thanks-looking forward to a summer of reading--

Though you are a guy- I would love to hear what you think of my new book- Linked Through Time- it is mainly a girl protagonist, but a few adult men have read it and liked it, so...let me know if you are interested. Welcome to the group!

Hey Robin- send any good book ideas my way. I am currently working on my own sequel-and love to read as a diversion!

Thanks, Brandt! This is a lively group! Like how active everyone is in posting :)

Yeah, it's great!:) I'm going to check out your book sometime- it sounds very interesting!

Some of my favorite authors are Scott Westerfeld, Maggie Stiefvater, and Sherrilyn Kenyon. I will read just about anything dsytopian, and adore science fiction and fantasy books. Currently, I am working my way through 16 books from our middle school library.

Welcome Kim! That's funny that you mentioned 'escape reality'. That's the title of the album I'm working on (I'm a musician). Sounds like you've got a great job!:)

I love reading and I love to sing and dance.
I've been a little wary about joining a bookclub on goodreads, but this just looked so welcoming I decided to take a chance...
I love lots of different kinds of books but I love the Gone series by Michael Grant, I just read Delirium by Lauren Oliver and LOVED IT!, and I love John Green. I'll really read anything. I also just read Bumped and Thumped by Megan McCafferty. Those were cool. Really I like fun books that are also thought-provoking, and make you think about things you have never thought about before.

@Michaela - I love all of those books! Though I can't say I've read much Nicholas Sparks...
@Jordan - I LOVE John Green books. You should totally check out his youtube channel if you haven't already, very funny.

Michaela- I love The Hunger Games and a lot of people are saying that the soon-to-be Divergent trilogy is up to par with it, so I'm excited to read it!
Jordan- I have been a member of Goodreads for a little more than a week (I think?) and I was hesitant about joining a bookclub too. But I'm so glad I did, because I've met some awesome people and have discovered some great books!

Personally, I like Divergent more than The Hunger Games. You should definitely read it!

Welcome Morgan and all the others who recently joined the group!! Good to have you all here :)
Btw I LOVE The Maze Runner too Morgan!
Btw I LOVE The Maze Runner too Morgan!

Hey Michaela! Sounds like you are pretty active! I lived in Georgia for about 7 years- nothing like some good ol southern sweet tea! :)

Hi Brittany! Congrats on the upcoming birthday- Celebrate! I haven't heard of the one book you mentioned- Eona? Is it good?

LOVED the second Hunger Games book! My fave of the three. I am workiing on a trilogy now- just got the contract for the sequel and now I am brain dead on what to do with the 3rd :)

I have to find this Maze Runner book- just heard someone recommend it yesterday!

Hey Morgan- I was born in Newfoundland- goofie newfie right? Sounds like I need to check out this maze runner book :) My book takes place in Baudette, MN which is on the border of Rainy River, Ontario. We would be able to cross the river in winter to Canada!

I love reading and I love to sing and dance.

Hey Jordan!- What is the Gone series about? Looking for my next reads-

Hey Kim- I only taught middle school for two years before leaving to stay home with my kids. It was a fun but tough couple of years with that age group :) I admire anyone who sticks it out for the long haul!

Thanks for being the first to welcome me Brandt! Escaping reality keeps me sane. Seriously though, I think the longer a person teaches the more he/she develops traits of his/her students. I do like my job.
Good luck with your music!

My name is Lenon, I'm 20 years olf and I am from Brazil.
I love to read, watch tons of television and study math xD And love all kinds of books, so it's a little hard to chose a favorite.

It is awesome to get to know people around the world with a touch of a button! Welcome and any recommendations are welcome- I just finished my own YA book, so now am looking for a few good reads :)

Welcome Anne! How do you like Hush Hush? It sounds like a book to add to my list.

Nice to meet everyone!

Marisette- I would love to chat more with you- on facebook or goodreads? or email? Maybe you would be interested in a book swap for reviews? My book is also a YA and just came out on paperback/kindle. Let me know what you think :)

Hi Rachel! I would love to hear what you think of my YA book- check out my website for sample chapters of Linked at www.jessicatornese.com. have a great 4th!
