Oh my gosh, what an amazing bunch of new members, I'm seriously in shock right now!! I'm so glad you all found your way to this group :) So welcome Azza, Juan, Rachel and Brittany!!!

I'm Kryzia (pronounced Kree-zee-ah) & new to Goodreads. I am 15 y.o. & live in Califorina. I'm an absolute nerd && read every waking second. Some of my favorite authors include: Stephenie Meyer (huge twi-hard & loved The Host), John Green (Nerdfighter. Really enjoyed ALL of his books. An Abundance of Katherines has got to be my favorite.) & Nicholas Sparks (cried while reading The Last Song, The Notebook & Message in a Bottle.) Anything to that effect, i'll read. So, yeah. (: I just like the fact that all of us are immensely obsessed with books. (x kbai & happy reading.

I enjoy YA very much and am always on the lookout for recommendations, especially for Zoe.
In fact, want to give a shout-out to Chelsea. Just downloaded "Heist Society" to Zoe's Nook for her to read on vacation. When I saw your list, which are also some of her favorites, I knew that series would be winner. It looks fantastic. Can't wait for my turn at it.

I want to read his books so badly! I watch his YouTube videos too so it seems really cool that he first got famous on YT then from writing books. I want to read his book The fault in our stars and Will Grayson Will Grayson

Hey I'm 13 too, we have a lot in common. Message me sometime! This is my first book club too!!

My favorite YA books of all time include The Giver, Where the Red Fern Grows, anything by Diana Wynn Jones, the Harry Potter series, and more recently I've fallen in love with the Percy Jackson series as well as the Nicholas Flamel series. Ah, I could just go on and on and on... :)

I read constantly and love to sing, act, dance, and gymnastics is my life.
I have too many favorite books to name just one(:

I have to admit, 'Will Grayson, Will Grayson' was not John Green's best. I like that one the least, I think. And since you read TFiOS first, you'll have very high expectations from his other works. TFiOS is by far his best. I suggest you have a break from it before you read anything else because everything will just suck in comparison. At least, it was like that for me.

Hi Wendy! I'd love to be a librarian. I'm thinking about volunteering at my local library, if they're not looking for paid employment.
Jenelle wrote: "Hey there, I'm Jenelle, I'm thinking maybe I'm too old for this group... but I love YA fiction, always have. Especially fantasy. So... yeah... I saw the topic "YA Enthusiasts" and felt at home... :..."
Hello Jenelle. Welcome to the group. All that 'too-old-too-like-YA' is complete nonsense! You don't have to be a certain age to enjoy books. I still read Dr Seuss and Roald Dahl books.
Wow welcome to all the new members!! You've joined a group that's fun and really growing fast!!!

My favorite books (AH such a hard question that I can't answer it! So I'll naturally pick multiple and hope you don't judge me TOO much for it) would have to be:
- Angels and Demons by Dan Brown
- Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth
- Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter
- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
- Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
- Private/Privilege Series (I'll count them as the same thing since one is a spinoff and I love them equally. Is it a problem that one of my favorite series features a psychopathic serial killer in a semi-rational light? Possibly, but I'll ignore it) by Kate Brian
- Paper Towns by John Green
- Shadow and Bone Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo
That was already way too many D: But you can clearly see that I'm a YA Enthusiast right?! I just can't pick between them because I love them so much.
Can't wait to meet you all! This is my first group I've joined on GR :)

Oh, really?! thanx for the advice... I kinda thought that nothing can top the fault in our stars!

I completely agree with Katrina. Will Grayson, Will Grayson was the only book written by John Green that I did NOT like (maybe it was the reader's fault, I listened on audio). In any case, I think TFiOS is definitely his "best" work (I preferred the actual plot of some of the other ones, but there's no denying the sheer quality of TFiOS and the emotions it brings out as you read it). Because it's so different from the rest of his books, I don't know if they are even comparable but I'd start with one like Looking for Alaska (another one of his classics) first.
And if you end up liking John Green, I recommend that you watch his channel on youtube (vlogbrothers). It gives more meaning to who he is and what he does, and if you choose to become a nerdfighter (watch the videos) from it, then that would be cool too!

Hi Wendy! I'm with you on that note, I love fiction (pretty much all of it), but nonfiction fails to hold my interest most of the time. I'm volunteering this summer at my local library with a summer reading program for kids and I love it! Libraries are such calming places :)
Welcome all!!! Sorry I haven't been here to do it earlier :/ but please make yourselves at home!! :)

I absolutely love the books you mentioned!! Except for Maximum Ride because I haven't read them yet, but they are indeed on my list. You can see I just joined this for the first time as well a few posts up, so we can be group newbies together :)
