That sounds neat and a quite different way of taking college classes.

Hoping to get some good tips on books to read next. :-)

Anyways, some of my favorite books are the obvious Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and anything and everything Cassandra Clare. Dystopia is my true love though so I've been on the look out for some good ones.

I'm Jenni. I'm a 21 year old living in Texas. I love to spend my free time with my dogs, family, and books. Though not always in that order ;) I've always been a reader but the last few years I have really gotten in to it. YA has become one of my favorite genres. I love having fellow book lovers to talk to so I look forward to getting to know you all :D

I'm Katrina, from New Zealand. I am a big fan of the arts. And I love reading (obviously). I don't really have a genre preference. So yeah.

I am fairly new to the genre of YA fiction. I am in my late 20s and was always reading more adult books growing up and did not read YA back when I was in high school etc. Now, at the age I am at now I find a lot of the books that look good come from this genre so I figured I would give it a whirl this year. I have read John Green, Suzanne Collins, and a few other authors in YA. Right now I am reading Paranormalcy by Kiersten White. Happy reading all!

Well, interesting story. I go to Hampshire College, which is based on divisions and concentrations rather than majors. It's kind of hard to explain. But basically ... the first year you're in Division I, second and third years are Division II, and your fourth year is Division III. In Division I, you're required to take classes in different areas of study. In Division II, you narrow your focus more to subjects you're the most interested in. And in Division III, you do an independent project all year based on what you're the most passionate about.
So, basically I'll have a concentration rather than a major. Since I'm still in Divison I, I don't officially have a concentration yet. But I think next year I'll be concentrating mostly on creative writing and art of some kind. For Division III I'll probably write a book or something, but ... we'll see. Haha. :)
