Hello, I'm from the marvelously multi-cultural area of Southern California. I don't think I'll ever get tired of meeting people from different cultures or of trying all the restaurants with food from around the world. Of course traveling to those countries to meet people and eat new foods is even better, and I'll take any excuse I can get to visit somewhere new.

When I'm not traveling, gardening, writing or hanging out with friends I like to read, of course! My favorite older books would be ones by Tolkien, L'Engle and C.S. Lewis. Some of my more modern favorite authors are Suzanne Collins and Catherine Fisher. I really enjoy YA books…so much so that I also write them. Over the last few years I've been exploring the new terrain of being a small press author. It's been a wild ride, but well worth it.

I just recently got a Kindle and am delighted to be able to devour YA novels at a much cheaper rate now.

I'm looking forward to being a part of this group!
