I LOVE my libraries!! Maybe you need to get a storage unit for the unnecessary items, and then you won't have to worry, and can keep your books :D

Hello,
I'm Mary Ann. I live in Oklahoma City. I'm a librarian in the public library system. I've enjoyed many cozy mysteries through the years, and I'm launching a Cozy Mysteries book club, Murder on the Menu, in the fall. I thought this group would help me stay current with suggestions and information for the group.
Hi Mary Ann, welcome to the group! I hope you'll find lots good books here, and join in the discussions.

I read/listen to around 150 books a year. I enjoy most genre except horror.
Challenges keep me moving on to the next book and I can still suit my mood.
I look forward to getting to know all of you who participate in the discussions.
Hi Shirley, welcome to the group! I hope you'll find some great cozies here. I look forward to discussing them with you.

Welcome to the group Nancy! I've read a few of the Bad Hair Day Mysteries and enjoyed them. I'm looking forward to discussing books with you.
Hello! I am Isis Sousa, a digital artist venturing into writing a Mystery/Dark Fantasy anthology and it has some of the elements of a "cozy mystery"!
The first short story is just published in order to promote the upcoming anthology book :)
So I guess being part of this group will bring me inspiration and insights! :)

Welcome to the group,Kay! I'm looking forward to rereading Bootlegger's Daughter. I agree, it's wonderful to discover an established series, you have so much to look forward to. I hope you'll stay around and join in reading some of our other books

Hi Nikki, welcome to the group! One place to tell us about your favorites is:

Hello Nikki. Hi to anyone new that I may have missed.
Welcome to the group Dana! You have lots of cozies to choose from with those selections. And, as you've probably noticed, one of our October books is a paranormal mystery. I look forward to seeing you in the discussions.

Lisa, I, too, started with the Nancy Drew series.

Dana, that bit about the kick-ass librarian made me laugh, because that's literally the protagonist of my Ninja Librarian books (though they aren't mysteries). But he definitely knows when to apply foot to backside.
Not that it was wish-fulfillment or anything, just because I work at the library. . .

My name is Donna. I am Mich. Rural Reader on the Ammy threads in case anyone knows who that is. I live in a very rural area where libraries, book stores and reading pals are few and far between I love cozy mysteries and I see a lot of like minded people here and plenty of activity. I am looking forward to hearing what you all have to say and sharing a few thoughts of my own.

Hi Donna, glad you found us! I look forward to discussing books with you. And it's not too late to join in the Title and Author challenges.
Welcome to the group Kathi! Discussion threads are usually set up right before, or on (when I lose track of time) the first of the month.

My name is Robyn and I live in Livonia, Michigan. I enjoy reading mysteries, primarily cozy mysteries-love the mystery itself, but not all the gore!

Hi Robyn,
I live in Port Hope, Mi. I'm new here too. I enjoy cozy mysteries and also almost any mystery with Michigan as its setting.

You know I don't think I've read very many books set in Michigan. I do enjoy the Abby Cooper series by Victoria Laurie, although I don't think I'm up to date.
Welcome to the group Robyn! I'm not crazy about the gore either. Ihope you'll join us in this month's reads.
Donna and Robyn - Have you read the Anneka Haagen series by Susan Holtzer? It's set in Ann Arbor and a lot of the action takes place at the University of Michigan. The first book is Something To Kill For: When It Comes To Garage Sales, Finding A Treasure Can Be Murder....

I love the Chocoholic and Whiskey Mattimoe series, chocolates and dogs are two of my favorite things :)

Looks like members post quite a few selections. I prefer cozy or semi-cozy mysteries as well. A lot of gore is not my cup of tea.
Hi Nicola, welcome to the group. You'll find plenty of possibilites in several threads. What types of cozies are you interested in?

I agree not a lot of gore for me neither.
