Please go to her facebook page, for every 500 fans the page gets, books will be donated to sick children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and other facilities. P.S. there is a FAQ column on her facebook page in case you have more questions about her book, or you can ask me! I would love to answer any questions you may have!
Please go to: http://www.facebook.com/authorpatsyri...

Congrats on the win Tana!!!

I'm not sure if this is the right place in here for this. My aim is to attract reviewers who review ebooks by self-published or indie authors and who want to be included in a free ebook for self-published authors promoting available review sites.
Over time, my intention is to create a website that authors can use to locate and "track" reviewers (keeping tabs on where they have submitted and when). There is no charge for inclusion or use of the ebook, for either the reviewer or the intended readership.
If this sounds like something you're interested in being included in, please register at http://www.editorandauthor.com/review...
Mods, please let me know if this is not the right place for this. I don't want to offend anyone.
Cheers
Karin

I am trying to stop reading for a while and trying to study and getting good grades. :((((

Wow. I've never notice any of those before. Most of them I've seen one of the book covers, but not the other.

Anne wrote: "There is even a Listopia thread with the same models who appear on multiple books' covers..."
That's too funny!
That's too funny!

Well yes they are the same models, BUT at least they are different book covers, that's not as bad as the same cover. It just bothers me, because alot of choosing a book is the great covers. I guess it's a silly thing to notice...lol

I wonder if this was the author's decision or publisher?

Nikki we just post our thoughts, and opinion, likes and dislikes, whatever is on our minds...and we try do it in a respectful manner. Try it out and see all the responses you get.

I have read the books and I am currently trying to finish the series. I hate the tv show because of a number of reasons:
1. They make Sookie out to be a whore. Yes she has sex with 3 different men that I know of, but is not like she is Anita Blake and is screwing every thing that comes along on two legs.
2. They make Jason into a vamp blood snorting bible thumper. Jason was never like this in the books, NEVER.
3.They make Bill sire a child, this never happened either. If you go back and read the either first or second book, (view spoiler) .
4. They take away everything that Tara has succeeded in doing in her life. Yes background says that she came from a poor ghetto life, but according to the fist book, she had brought herself out of the ghetto and had made her life a success by being a buisness owner.
5. Tara and Sam never had a fling of any kind. They had a mutual respect for one another for making something out of their lives.
6.They make Sam out to be a run away who's parents did not understand about him being a shape-shifter. In the book (view spoiler) .
So this just goes to show that HBO or what ever channel True Blood is on, just likes to have horny character and soap opera dialog.

Get reading....if you love the show, the books will blow you away, they are much better than the t.v. show.

For the men of the group, at what age did you start thinking about women in a sexual manner or discussing things of an affectionate nature or more with your buddies?
I have been repeatedly blasted because of a fictional ten year old smoking cigarettes with his buddies, and discussing the possibility of having sex with a girl friend because it was before the normal age of boys change into men.
First off most kids who will experiment with cigarettes do so by age ten!
From a poll of men I work with most boys start having inappropriate thoughts about women by age five or six and are definitly talking to their buddies about by age ten!!
Lastly not all books with children in them are YA books, so if you assume they are you might be surprised by what you run into.
What do you think?
Experiment with smoking - what age?
Talking about Sex with male buddies?

For the men of the group, at what age did you start thinking about women in a sexual manner or discussing things of an affectionate nature or more with your buddies? My husband was in the 4th grade
I know someone who just caught her 10-year-old daughter smoking in the backyard. It happens. I think my husband was 8 when he started smoking. His dad owned in a shop where they had the old-fashioned cigarette machines, and him and his brother could just reach in and steal a pack whenever they wanted.

LIKED BOTH

LIKED BOOK NOT MOVIE

LIKED MOVIE BETTER THAN BOOK (very rare)
