Kimberly | 2033 comments It feels kind of wierd for me to be plotting out what books I'm going to read in advance.

message 3: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) I like your list! I find it interesting to see the Cussler as a long-time TBR - is there a story abut that?

message 4: by Kimberly (last edited Dec 23, 2011 01:32PM) (new)

Kimberly | 2033 comments Nope I just haven't gotten around to reading it since I uploaded it to my list on Goodreads and since it is the book I've had marked as TBR the longest I figure I should read it soon. I love Clive Cussler but his earlier books can be harder to find in used bookstores :)

Cheryl (cherylllr) You def. haunt different used bookstores than I do. 'Course, I also haunt thrift stores & the library. I'm just babbling - just trying to say it seems like I've seen several different copies of this 'floating' around. My husband is a big Cussler fan.

Kimberly | 2033 comments Usually I see his newer books in the thrift stores/used bookstores I go to here and I think he's more popular where you are since you're in the states and there doesn't seem to be as many canadian fans.. I could get it from the library they have like 30 copies but I like to own his books :)

Janice (jamasc) | 53567 comments Good job on your list Kimberly. If you are doing the Around the World in 52 books challenge, Disgrace could double in that one.

Which ones? :)

Anna Marie I miss Harry Potter, so I'm curious about that Quidditch book.

message 12: by Kimberly (new)

Kimberly | 2033 comments I think I read it when I was 11 or so but I remember liking it. I'm still a Harry Potter fangirl :)

Kimberly | 2033 comments I've actually decided to change The Orchid Thief A True Story of Beauty and Obsession by Susan Orlean to The Orchid House by Lucinda Riley :)

Janice (jamasc) | 53567 comments Ooooh - The Orchid House looks very interesting. I've added it to my every growing (out of control) wishlist. :)
