Why do you want it deleted they have different covers. We do not delete books / change covers on books hat have been published. If a new cover is created then we add an alternate cover copy of he book. People want the cover of the book they read on their shelves.

Are you should you don't have your picutres reversed? The first one (the one with the eyes) is the cover that Amazon currently has for it. The other cover doesn't show up at all over there.

I have totally lost count of how many times I have informed them of errors via their feedback on images. Every one I have informed them of, they have sent me a thank you email saying they were fixing it.
Well, I changed the picture on Amazon, it's just not showing up yet. I'm thinking though that I should switch the covers like you said, Tntexas. Thanks, you guys! Never mind deleting it...
Oh wait a sec, somebody must've combined my editions or something. It's now exactly how I wanted it, and I don't have to swap covers at all. Thanks to whoever did that. :) Goodreads librarians are awesome!

It's just that they have them associated with the wrong editions. Most booksellers posting for sale on Amazon aren't concerned if the pic does not match their edition, as long as the data they post matches their edition. Users uploading their images seem only concerned that the pic match the title, not the edition.

Is this the ISBN the edition was printed with?
The ISBN protocol states that any book published with an incorrect ISBN should continue to use that ISBN as if it was correct. So, just because the checksum is wrong does not mean it is invalid.

The only case I can find of this ISBN anywhere is on GR.
HOW do I delete a book which will soon no longer be for sale? Contract termination with publisher says I have to remove all books from sites.

I think you are correct that this book is a database error. If you compare it to the other edition it is paired with, you will find that the 3-10th digits of the ISBN are the same as digits 1-8 of the correct entry. These two should be merged.

Readers expect to be able to shelve books bought and read.
If the book is for sale on GR then you can stop that.
