Please delete this book! (pt. 11)

Thanks :)
Also could this edition please be deleted:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12...
as it is a duplicate of this edition (same ISBN):
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12...
Thanks again.

It's a duplicate of this one: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/63...
Original title: Naked in Death
(Needs a super.)

Those two link to two different ISBNs, so they both get to stay.
Thanks :)

It's apparently some strange hybrid of Silver Bourne and River Marked... o.O

I have checked all the books with asterisk and I dont see a way to recover them. Delete the lot?
I don't think, so. They could all be different authors, and different titles.
Maybe the members who shelved them can restore them.

k thanks
I'm just being optimistic, of course! :) I just figure it's best to let staff make that call.

The cover and author are for a different book (Fablehaven), first off, but the ISBN and title are for a Canadian release (that appears to have never been actually published) of this book:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5163746-the-spook-s-tale
Basically, I can't find any proof the book came into existence, but even if the entry is valid the cover and author are absolutely wrong.

which is a duplicate (with wrong ISBN) of this one (correct)

Thanks

(it's not an alternate cover, it's a duplicate showing the inside endpaper design instead of the cover)

No - leave them - imports may be able to sort them out as they run

This book wasn't published, even if it's possible to "see it" the book don't exist. My question is, as a librarian I can't delete it (the message says only superlibrarians can)
Do I have to tell the writer to contact one superlibrarian? If so, who she could contact?
Thank you.

Didn't notice it was already on the website.

yes and no
yes it's her, and she ask me (she can confirm it) but it's not under her writer name. Now her works are published as Adrienne Wilder, and that work, as Adrienne C Wilder didn't went out (it has never be sold).
that's why she ask me to delete it (I rescued it after the amazon lost of data)
it's possible to do it?
I removed it, but as it is listed in multiple online databases (as "out of print", even though there is no evidence it was ever IN print), it may import again.

Thank you
Well if It will be imported probably she will contact me, or another librarian, again. The writer told me it's not out of print, because it never have been printed. Neither as ebook or paperback.
Thank you :-)

Salem's lot?
Probably wrong added the famous Stephen King Salem's lot

I need a superlibrarian to delete this book, please :)
ISBN13: 9781935415411
I've gone through the separate, and combined with the actual edition as per merge instructions, though it won't let me delete it with so many 'reviews'. The book was not published due to the untimely death of the publisher, only 'Killer Instinct' in this series has an edition by this publisher. Many thanks!
I confirmed that the publisher went out of business in early 2011 and deleted (merged) the edition. The problem is, at least three of our import-data suppliers (including WorldCat) still have it listed. It will probably import again.
If it does, try to mark it as Not A Book before ANY users shelve it. (It's fine to post in this group for help.)

As far as I know "Death Constant Beyond Love" is García Márquez's short story, and not a book. So please someone check (and maybe delete) this entry: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/65...
It has no publication info

was meant as a review, not a separate edition.

Can somebody delete the superfluous ones?
tnx

Looks like an import problem to me. Probably should be reported in the feedback group.

I created an additional entry because the original record for the ISBN 0330400088 (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/49...) was listed as a hardback and I wasn't entirely sure that this was invalid as a number of sites linked the ISBN to a hardback. However, those were all commercial sites and from what I've learned from discussions around the Amazon changes are not valid evidence.
When I checked back, Goodreads had me listed as the data source for the original record (I hadn't actually done anything to it other than upload and then delete a cover...), so I decided to go ahead and change it to the information that I could actually verify.
So unless someone can tell me this is wrong and there really is a hardback version of ISBN 0330400088, I think my duplicate record can go.

It's not letting me delete even though it has less than 5 reviews?
The book doesn't exist and is just a made up title used by Stewart Lee in a stand-up sketch.
Thanks
