inglades stood on the cold, barren hilltop overlooking waymeet. his men had already fought minor skirmishes for the last few miles, and his men expected another assault before dawn. inglades was on the watch beginning at midnight, and continuing to foredawn. he looked anxiously at the silent city. he knew that somewhere inside those walls lay his fears. he knew that the battle would cost many lives. the crystal of creshinibon was in there, dominating a demon lord. this would be no easy venture, but he was ready to do what he had to in order to end that evil. he owed the world that, at least.
