25.7 - Amanda A's task: Name Train
Checking I got this right:My readerboard name ends in A, so I picked Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy by Ally Carter as my first book
Then chose Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins as my second book, where Carter ends in R, and Rachel begins in R.
I have (the ghostreader) in my readerboard name so do I count the r in reader or the E in my first name?
Does this include states? My reader board name is Kathryn CA to keep me seperate from all the other Kathryn's out there. Do I use A or N?
My readerboard name is FelinaBook 1: The Living Dead by John Joseph Adams
Book 2: Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang by Chelsea Handler
From A to H. Does this work?
Did I do this correctly?Kathy G.
I chose:
#1- Mister Monday by Garth Nix
#2- The Eleventh Plague by Jeff Hirsch
Thanks.
Making sure I did this correctly...Readerboard name: ★Meghan★
#1: Mary's Son by Darryl Nyznyk by Darryl Nyznyk
#2: Snow: A Retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves by Tracy Lynn

I just want to make sure I have this right! :)My reader name is Randi, so I chose Ursula, Under by Ingrid Hill. Then I went from Ingrid Hill to Wench by Dolen Perkins-Valdez.
I'm planning to read something by Kenzaburo Oe, followed by Jeffrey Eugenides. Just making sure I'm getting this right!
Is it ok if I use an author who uses initials. Like my name is SASSAFRASS so I use author S.A. Reid for my first one. And then use an author who's name (first or last) starts with a D for my second book?
Would John le Carre' work for "L"? I was thinking of using Neil Gaiman as my first author (my readerboard name is Boston Kate) and then John le Carre', but I'm not sure if the "le" in "le Carre" works.(Okay, for some reason the author link isn't linking to anything, but I'm looking for the John le Carre who wrote Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy)
Kate wrote: Okay, for some reason the author link isn't linking to anything, but I'm looking for the John le Carre
John le Carré is listed with the accent.
(if you enter a title under add book, then switch tabs to add author, the corresponding authors come up. That's often easier than trying to insert the special characters)

This is a two book task.
Book 1 - Using the last letter of your Readerboard name, read a book whose author's first, middle, or last name begins with that letter. If your Readerboard name has more than one word, you may use the last letter of any word in the name. For example, my Readerboard name is Amanda A so my first book could be a book by Alice Hoffman.
Book 2 - Read a book whose author's first, middle, or last name begins with the last letter of the previous author's first or last name. Based on the example above, I could read a book by Janet Evanovich or Nicholas Sparks.
Note: If your Readerboard name ends with X, Y, or Z and you do not have other letters to choose from (i.e., you have only a one word Readerboard name), let me know and I'll use a random list generator to select a letter from A-W for you to use.
Required: Point out the connections between the letters when you post. If you got a randomly-generated letter from Amanda, point that out also.
