Reading with ★Meghan★
I know some books that I liked recently were Wither, Darkfever, and Storm Glass. I also really like The Girl in the Steel Corset if you are in need of some steampunk. This is just a few of them.
I was reading The Girl in the Steel Corset on my kindle when it decided to go and break on me. :( I shocked me... for what I read. I was not expecting some of that. Looking forward to finishing it when I get home.
All right I just finished
. I am trying to finish
. If I by chance finish that one, I may start
. Or maybe I will get a slight jump start on
.
I told you that you would finish Epic Fail in a day! I was a quick cute read. LOL! I'm glad it was cheap because I would of wanted more for 10 bucks. Ha! I skipped over Hereafter for right now.
I see. I know I can't set up for Challenges until I get back home. I just don't have the reading range I need But it looks good. I'll get to it soon enough. It will bug me until I do because I just bought it.
I got Hereafter for $0.99 when it was on sale as part of Epic Reads 10 for $10 deal for ebooks last year. I am a little more than half way through it right now. I am actually enjoying it. It took a little bit to get into, but it is really good.
Halfway through the grave is good. I was actually thinking about reading the second one when I opened up thirteen reasons why instead. I might have to go back to the series now that I'm done with that one. Oh, and just downloaded Hereafter onto my Nook Color. Might finally get to that one.
Zakiya wrote: "What'd you think about Hex Hall?"It was a little cookie cutter-ish, but it wasn't too bad. I want to see what becomes of Archer :)
Ladies I just finished Hex Hall, in pretty much a day. It was a fast read. I agree with the cookie cutter characters again but I did like the banter at times.
Lucky! They apparently turned it back in recently, so I'm going to try and check it out before it's gone again lol
I haven't started reading it yet. Working on quite a few other books. I am about to finally start the Vampire Academy series. :) Then I want to finish Leaving Paradise. I have read the first 6 or 7 chapters and it is already starting out really good. :)
I haven't started the vampire Academy series either.I have glimmerglass at home so I'll wait to read that one.
I'v been picking up alot of indie books for smashwords & reading those. Like the Steampunk Detective and Once Bitten is what I'm working on now.
I think so. I'll add it to my must read list for when I get back. I need to get back to order and in a routine!
July 15th is the day I leave China. I think I'm going backwards so I might land in the US on the 15th as well. I have to double check that. But I know it will be a few days before I'm settled and really up and running again.
So I am now back and up and running in the reading. I haven't been reading much due to moving in to my new house on July 1st. I just got internet. Since the last time I posted. I have finished
and
. I am currently reading
,
,
, and
.
YAY!!! What'd you think about VA? You don't even have to love it, it's just the fact that you finally read it lol
I actually liked VA more than I thought I would. There were things that annoyed me, but it isn't like I could really go with it. There were surprises and twists and turns. I am about 70 pages from finishing Moon Called and Only about 40 pages into Marked so we will see how it goes. I will probably try to pick up Shiver here in the next week or so too, but we will see. Lots to read and not nearly enough time to finish them all.
Meghan, I got jumbled up and said all that about Vamp Acad, but that statement was meant for MS lol. I just saw M I suppose and got confused haha. But I'm glad you're enjoying your books ;)
Ok you finished three!! Whoop. Looks like you are on a roll! I wish I could say that. I've been working on making shawls because since I came back the my aunt pounced on me and said we really need some now!! Hence listening to a book and I finished three shawls in the week and will be done with the book and the fourth tonight. Plus my middle guy turned 10 so we took a few day trip up the road a few hours so they could stay in a hotel and swim and go go karting and all that to have some fun.
Ok Catching Jordan is written down. Need to get to the library. & I know I have Pleasure Unbound (signed) and yet to have read that one so I could open that one up too.
I have Catching Jordan on order at the library and
so I hope I will get them this month. Especially GoT so I can read this month for the group read and my august challenge.

I thought the Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian was fast paced and it really has info that is sometimes my life. I live on a Indian Reservation normally when I am in WI and some of that is too true it is shameful. But that is life.
WHat to read next? I started the third book in Tattoo Faeries by Melissa Marr but it is slow going :(
