Amy's crow patronus suddenly landed on her shoulder. "That's cool."

Jennifer then casted her patronus which was an eagle it flew up to the roof and vanished.
Evangeline slipped in through the door to Charms class and looked around. She saw a group of girls sitting on the far side of the room, including Destiny, the girl she had met earlier. She walked over to them. "Do you mind if I join you?" she asked.

Evangeline smiled gratefully and sank into the chair a girl had pulled out for her. "What are we doing?" she asked, taking her wand out of her bag.
"we're practeceing the patronus charm" she replied
"Oh, cool!" Evangeline said. She'd always wanted to try the Patronus Charm. "Have you managed to produce a corporeal Patronus yet?" she asked the girl, wincing inwardly at how teachers-pet that sounded.
"Yes I can show you if you want" at this she casts her patronus it flew to the roof and vaneshed
Evangeline smiled as she watched the girls Patronus fly through the roof. "Well done!" she said. Then she looked at the girl more closely. "I know you!" Evangeline exclaimed. "It's Jennifer, isn't it? We were talking in the Gryffindor Common Room last night."
Destiny looked back to see Evangeline. "Hi!", she said.
"Oh, hi Destiny!" Evangeline said.
"Yeah we were talking because you had moved where you were sitting becaus of the two sisters arguing close to were you were"
"Yeah, that's right," Evangline said. "How are you?" she asked, smiling. "I suppose I better try casting my Patronus," she said, and focused on the happiest memory she could think of - the first time she had seen Hogwarts. "Expecto Patronum!" she said, and her Unicorn Patronus burst from her wand and galloped around the classroom.
"Wow, your patronus is a unicorn!", Destiny exclaimed, "It's beautiful..."
"Thanks Destiny," Evangeline replied, smiling at her. "I think it's beautiful too. I find it helps to sustain the happiness needed to produce a Patronus if said Patronus is beautiful, don't you? What's your Patronus?"
"My patronus is a cat.", Destiny replied. "Expecto Patronum!" and her cat patronus appeared.
"Mine is a phoenix.", Spirios said. "Expecto Patronum!" and a majestic phoenix appeared. It soared above their heads. Destiny's patronus saw it, and swatted at it, trying to catch it.
Evangeline laughed in delight as Destiny's patronus and the other girl's patronus played together, and repeating her incantation sent the unicorn up to join them. Then she turned to the other girl, the one with the phoenix patronus. "What's your name?" she asked.
"Spirios." , said the other girl, and watch this: She whistled, and her patronus flew over, settling on her outstretched arm.
"Hi, I'm Evangeline," Evangeline replied. Then she clapped as Spirios brought her patronus down to rest on her arm. "That's cool!" she said. I can't do anything quite like that with mine yet - I've got a feeling it would be a bit hard to ride on my unicorn!"
“Yup, and I can do it because I have a special bond with it!" said Spirios.
"Well, i'm sure we all have a special bond with our patronus's to some extent, but your bond is certainly impressive. I shall have to work with mine," Evangeline said. "Have you ever thought about naming your patronus?" she asked.
"No, because a phoenix is free, and it's not my pet, is it? If it was my pet, I would name it."
"You're absolutely right," Evangeline said. "I've not offended you?" She had not meant to insinuate that they were pets - just that perhaps having a bond with a patronus meant that they also had some sort of personality befitting a name.
"No offence taken, Evangeline, no offence." replied Spirios
Destiny laughed, "I guess Spirios and I will have to work on our patronus' bonds.", she said as her patronus jumped out of her arms. It started to chase Spirios' patronus around the classroom."
Spirios aimed a kick at Destiny's patronus, and the cat hissed.
"Don't do that!", Destiny joked, as her patronus sprang back into her arms.
Jennifer didn't whant to be left out so she casted her patronas and it landed on her arm
Evangeline laughed again as Destiny's and Spirios's patronus played with each other, and called her unicorn back to her to gallop in circles, narrowly missing Destiny's cat as it sped under a table.
"Wow!" she said as her eagle took of and flew round the room
Evangeline's unicorn patronus reared up on it's hind legs and whinnied as Jennifer's eagles sped past it's ear. Evangeline reached out and stroked the unicorn with her hand, and grinned at Jennifer. "Your patronus is fast," she said.
"Well eagles are fast arn't they" she said with a smile
Spirios's phoenix saw it, and gave chase to the eagle.
"Well, yes, they are," Evangeline conceded to Jennifer, and then watched Spirios phoenix chase the eagle around the room. "I bet the phoenix won't catch it," she said.
