"ATTENTION CLASS!" The professor said loudly, as he entered the classroom, hushing the students with a small pop from their wand. "I want you all to pay attention to me now. The new year is here, which means you all have entered your next year of Hogwarts. I trust most of you have done wondrously thus far, and I hope many of you can continue that."
"Today we're going to be doing sleeping charms. This can be tricky for any witch or wizard, so let's see what everyone's got. Why don't we do this one by one? Who'd like to do first?" They asked, searching for an eager volunteer.
Spirios perked up, and raised her hand.
"Serpensortia!" she conjured up a snake, then with a flick, put it to sleep.
Luna, being a new first year, thought that this looks ridiculously complicated. As Spirios sat down, Luna whispered to her "How did you do that?!"
Luna walks into the classroom and sets her books down at a desk in the front of the room. She sits down and begins to read her advanced book about charms.
