Charms Class

"I'm Emma," she introduced herself, extending her right hand.

"Do you want to get started?" Emma asked, leading the way to a table at the back of the classroom and letting her bag fall onto a spare seat with a thump.

"Okay" Svetlana turned to a clean page in her notebook

"Alright, I'll try first," Emma volunteered, retrieving her wand from the bottom of her bag. "Accio," she said, waving her wand at a pillow. The pillow soared across the room only to get caught in the ceiling fan and being shredded to bits. Feathers wafted down, floating throughout the classroom and coating every surface. "Oops," Emma said.

Svetlana sneezed "cool! It's like snow" she then said "Accio" and a pillow slowly made it's way over to them

Emma swatted a few feathers out of her face. "I think we can both agree that your attempt was more successful," she added.

Pro. Brown brushed a couple feathers out of her hair laughing "It's alright Misty, I think the problem is your wand movements. Try like this," she said demonstraiting "Don't wave your wand quite so hard."

Emma imitated his movement and sent a pillow flying toward her. "Thanks, professor," she said, sending a second pillow zooming across the room.

"good job!" Svetlana said "how do you get it to go fast?"

"I just concentrated really hard on summoning the pillow," Emma replied, calling over a third pillow.

Svetkana tried, but it shot forward and hit her in the face

"Okay, maybe that attempt was a bit too enthusiastic," Emma said, gesturing for her to try again.

Svetlana spit out a feather. "Yeah" She raised her wand, and said Accio. A pillow flew over

"Nice job," Emma said, her reflexes enabling her to snatch the pillow before it flew out the window.

Emma looked expectantly at Professor Brown, patiently awaiting the next portion of the lesson.

Misty took another deep breath, reviewing everything she had learned. 'Concentrate really hard on summoning the pillow.' she heard another girl nearby say. Her lips formed silent words as she practiced the wand movements until Misty was sure she had it right. Finally, she said "Accio!" waving her wand confidently-not too hard, but not too weak, either. The pillow flew at them and landed neatly into the basket. Misty's face lit up, she'd finally done it! Just wait till she told Jay!

Pro. Brown smiled "Great Job Misty! That was beautifully done, 5 points to Slytherin."

"Thank you, Professer!" Misty said, glad they she was able to earn back the points she had lost.

Emma slowly packed up her belongings, stowed her wand inside her robes, and turned to Svetlana. "Do you want to head to the library?" she asked.

Grabbing her bag, Emma left with Svetlana for the library.

Teddy plopped himself down in a desk.

A short while later, Natalie joined him. "How are you today,Teddy?

"Dandy, you?" Teddy said bluntly.

Eve walked into class hopping she wasen't late and took a seat.

"Hello Class." Pro Brown said as she walked into class "Today we will be studying the Aguamenti charm if you would all come to the front desk and grap a goblet and pick a partner.Come to me with any questions." And with that Pro.Brown sat down at her desk.

Teddy walked up to the professor's desk and grabbed a goblet. He then sat down and looked around for a partner.

[Swaroop, Head Boy]

Swaroop entered the class,late as usual.He soon found out he had to work with a partner,and Emma was not around.He began scanning the class for a new partner.

Teddy saw someone looking for a partner and no one else seemed to be in class. "Hey do you want to be my partner since no one else seems to be around?" Teddy asked.

"Mr. Swaroop, I trust you won't be late again, as a headboy you should know better." Pro.Brown said not looking up from her work

"Ok ready Amy? " Iris says preparing to launch the pillow.

'Yeah I do understand your concern,I will try my best to come early next time' Swaroop said and blinked his left eye.

'Hi Teddy,yes I can be you partner.Nice to meet you' Swaroop said to Teddy and shook hands with her.

"Nice to meet you too," Teddy said as he picked up the goblet so that they could start the project.

Iris grabs a goblet and comes back to Amy.

'What do we need to do?' Swaroop asked Teddy.'I'm attending the class after 2 weeks.Final year blues..'he added.

"Ohh... Well we just started learning the Augamenti Charm." Teddy said. "Have you done this one before?"

'Yes I have done it.I can teach you if you find it difficult' Swaroop said.

"I've just have never done it but I'm normally pretty good at charms so I'm sure I'll catch on quickly." Teddy said.

'Oh thats great..We can practice then' Swaroop said.

[Rachel]

"Ok, great. Do you want to start?" Teddy asked, holding out the goblet.

James runs in quickly to the proffesor,telling him/her ((i dont know who teches this class)) about his teeth, and asking him/her to perform the counter curse.
