I finished Spying in High Heelson 2/29.
4 stars I thought it was a cute fun read. The main character reminded me of Stephanie Plum (with a slimmer side kick and only one hot man in the picture). I will definitely be reading more in this series.

Finished Silver Borne 06.03.12. ★★★★

It was nice to not have the vampires be too involved for once, after the trouble they caused in the last book. As with all Mercy Thompson books, this story had a few threads running at once, but there are still people out to get Mercy as she lands in trouble that isn't really her fault. Samuel's struggle with feeling old and aimless has been witnessed for a few stories now, and the culmination in this book was emotional and unexpected. I enjoyed seeing how Mercy finds a way to accept her position in the Columbia Basin Pack despite several pack members making trouble for her and Adam.

I am going to read for my werewolf book this week. I know I have already completed one and I will fall back on that one if I need to, but this new book will also get me another item checked off on the list since I plan to read it anyway.

I believe I told several of you that my ex's family came, took him to another city, and put him in Hospice. My family is coming here this week-end and we are driving there to see him before "the end".
