Gingerlily - all cleaned up!

My Uncle lived (until he died) in Hadleigh, and I used to have a client who lived near Base Green, both a long time ago now"
Ah, I see. BTW. I'm reading your books. Like the Lotus sleigh, enjoyed the Gingerlilly joke, just starting Sat Nav of Doom, then I'll be caught up. ;-) Takes me a while to get into them so it's definitely much more fun reading them all back to back.
Hmm... I should probably have put that on your thread... except that Gingerlily's is where the conversation is. Never mind, we're all gumbees.

Why do you think it takes you a while to get into them, out of curiosity?

Although inevitably, as with any sort of humour, no book appeals to everybody

Why do you think it takes you a while to get into them, out of curiosity?"
I'm not really sure, I think it just takes me a while to get my ear in. But also, like Jim, because the story builds, it's nice to tackle it in big chunks. ;-)

And a JCB is a very good idea. Its a bit like the Augean Stables in here.

Make a trunk call and reverse the charge.

There's a couple of day trips on offer here to go to elephant reserves where you can ride elephants n such.
I'm not fussed in going, though. We went to a place near Bangkok last time we were here and the way the animals were treated made me cry. I was upset for days. Dave sez he doesn't want to go through that again.

How big is that handbag?"
Some of them seem to have wandered over to my thread. But if you're coming over, bring a shovel.

Ok well maybe a small baby elephant then.
