Here's a place to post any amusing thing you find while surfing the web. If it makes you chuckle, chances are someone else will enjoy it too.

Ever wonder what it would look like if men were forced to assume those coy, pin-up girl poses in a series of photos? You probably haven't, but take a look anyway:

Oh my god that is soooooooooooo funny!!! Certainly brought laughter to my office on a wet and miserable Monday morning!

raya (a little mango) (airtwit) | 14 comments Highly entertaining rant about a poorly made burrito.

Slightly amusing and also true.

For anyone who'd like to read Notaro's commentary on Project Accessory.

I also learned that Google does, indeed, barrel roll when "do a barrel roll" is entered as a search.

Creepiest thing I've seen today:

That last boy will haunt my nightmares for weeks to come.

I love the altered children's drawings. I used to turn my kids' artwork into stuffed animals.

I've heard the term "gobshites" before, but word the Irish gentleman uses to describe bankers was a new one on me. Quite appropriate, though.

OH MY GOD!!! That is just too scary and ridiculous for words (yet incredibly funny all the same!!)

Oh I've heard that used in relation to bankers a lot in the last few years (and politicians, and footballers, and referees...I'll stop now)

message 31: by Hazel (new)

Hazel | 309 comments the best one of the realistic kids drawings is the one of Jesus. A zombie skeleton style thing nailed to a cross. Brilliant.

The third one though, thats a child who needs to talk to someone...

Mathew Bookworm Smith | 685 comments So last year my daughter (age 5) was into 'unicorns and rainbows', so, being the crafty people we are we decided to make her a shirt...with those iron on transfers. You know? You print a picture and iron the picture onto a shirt.
So I googled pictures of rainbows and unicorns...it was one of those searches gone wrong. Here is what I came up with. Appropriate for the kindergarten crowd?

I realize these pictures fit my criteria, 'rainbows and unicorns', but, a little different than what I initially thought I'd get.
We ended up going with #3. Threw in a my little pony for good measure.

Is that a pretzel or a pelvic bone in the unicorn's spew?

(That may indeed be the oddest sentence I've typed since joining Goodreads...)

Though our tree is adorned with several Star Trek ornaments, donning costumes has never been part of our yuletide celebration.

Mathew Bookworm Smith | 685 comments Break and enter probably. Maybe fashion faux pas? Animal cruelty? Breaking labour laws? Crossing the border without proper documentation?
