Once Upon A Time

I'm having a hard time keeping up too. Some shows jump the line, though, like this one. I don't care if I have 50 things on the DVR, I'll watch Once first.

I can hardly believe that we have to wait for the next episode. I am sad too.

I think EQ said that she told Snow a secret and Snow betrayed her by revealing the secret, which led to something bad--maybe EQ losing her love?

I really liked the reveal that the EQ has her memory intact.

I was wondering if that's how Emma breaks the curse, if she touches someone or whatever to have them remember.

Right, right, right. Totally forgot about that.
I don't think the Emma is the key in the sense someone has to touch her, but rather I think its when someone steps back into the person/place in the story they are supposed to be. For example, I think if Mary Margaret and Prince Charming (whatever his Storybrook name is) kiss, that my propel them to remember. Emma's existence is just helping propel these people towards who they are supposed to be.

Amy Acker, who had roles on both Joss Whedon’s Angel and Dollhouse, will visit ABC’s fantastical freshman drama as a romantic interest for both Grumpy (of the Seven Dwarves) and his surly Storybrooke counterpart, Leroy, in a late winter episode that delves into the grouch’s backstory.
Lee Arenberg (Grumpy/Leroy) cheered the casting via Twitter, saying that on Friday he was “living the dream” working opposite both Acker and Ginnifer Goodwin (aka Snow White/Mary Margaret) — though it was not clear in which of the show’s two worlds their scenes were taking place.
Well, TVLine can exclusively report that Acker will play characters in both Storybrooke and the fairy tale world that was.
Earlier this fall, Once cast Buffy the Vampire Slayer alumna Emma Caulfield as the Blind Witch from Hansel and Gretel lore; she will appear in this season’s ninth episode (get exclusive scoop here). Of course, Buffy/Angel/Dollhouse vet Jane Espenson is a writer/producer for Once.
Acker’s TV resume also includes ABC’s Happy Town and No Ordinary Family, and last month’s Lifetime movie Dear Santa. Ironically, she will also guest-star this winter on NBC’s Grimm, which like Once (though in a decidedly different way) revolves around fairy tale characters.
Once Upon a Time, having aired its seventh episode/fall finale this month, resumes its freshman run Jan. 8

That soon will be answered on the ABC fairy-tale drama, but portrayer Lana Parrilla teases that the origin of her malevolence springs from one place. "It's one particular moment," she tells TVGuide.com. "It's one thing that just explodes and branches off into all these other little things, but it's one big f----up that changes her life."
"We'll go back in time in fairy-tale land and see who she was before she became this evil queen," she adds. "The big secret will be revealed."
Before she was sending the Hunstman after Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin), she was married to Snow's father, King Leopold (Richard Schiff), though their dysfunctional union was the catalyst for her hatred of Snow. "There is an episode coming up where you do see the king and queen together and you can see the hardship between them," she says. "You learn of how unhealthy and unsupportive that relationship was. How he always favored his daughter more than her."
Whether she truly loved the king or was only seeking his status remains to be seen, but the Evil Queen is capable of love as we'll come to learn that she had a previous lover she truly cared for. "It is someone that you've met before," she reveals. "You see this really soft, vulnerable side to her. Even her voice shifts with a softness to it. She wants to love, it's just difficult for her. Once she has it, she doesn't really know how to sustain it or stabilize it."
Her inability to love was proved when she killed off the only man in Storybrooke who's ever shown her affection. "I don't think she feels good about what she did," Parrilla says of Regina killing Graham (Jamie Dornan) in the midseason finale. "You see a tear coming out of Regina's eye when she crushes the heart, which, to me, is very telling. You can see that this was not an easy decision for her."

Me too. I see him in a whole new light. I didn't like seeing him so pathetic but I can now understand why he's the way he is and it also got me thinking, does he have control over the way he is? I don't think so.
Great article! I'm so excited to see what exactly twisted EQ in the super-bitch we see today.
No sympathy from me for her with the tear, it didn't stop her from killing Graham/Huntsman. And that is even more telling.

and very very interesting thought about EQ and Rumple!!!

Interesting! And what happened to Rumple's son? Where/who is he?

Interesting! And what happened to Rumple's son? Where/who is he?"
We were wondering about him too.

Also that this info was in her juvenile records. She looks a bit old to have had a kid while a teen in jail. Or is it her hard life that makes her look older and harder?

Tonight's ep: (view spoiler)[ You just knew the sheriff was doomed when he started to remember. Too bad he's gone, I was starting to like him.
Still don't know why EQ hates Snow, and apparently her husband/Snow's father who she killed. I want to know what set all this into motion, it's time we knew. If they drag it out much longer I'm going to get bored and frustrated. (hide spoiler)]
