Caryn What is the best book you have read recently? (in the last month or so)

It's great. I admit to liking violent books. I like that this author didn't step away from the gore that comes with death and what Cas does as a ghost hunter. And the character Anna....wowey...amazing. Not your typical heroine at all.

Rachel Alice Goliath by Scott Westerfeld Love this series!

These were way better than I was expecting them to be (also polar opposites) Evil Genius (Genius, #1) by Catherine Jinks Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn

I was rather disappointed in Mockingjay but Catching Fire was AMAZING! It had all the action you could ask for and i just LOVE Katniss she is a great protagonist,Mockingjay just left me with so many unanswered questions and just didnt end how i would have liked it to, i guess some people can agree with me.

I've heard so many mixed things about this that I didn't bother adding it to my TBR pile. I guess that's okay considering it's getting too big as it is!

I just finished No Country for Old Men by Cormac McCarthy and it was phenomenal. I've also been on a big contemporary romance kick lately. I read a ton of romance, and I loved Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1) by E.L. James and Fifty Shades Darker (Fifty Shades, #2) by E.L. James . Also read Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard . Definitely not for the faint of heart but great, intense romances with plenty of steam.

Yes I LOVED the first one too! I think that it might take some people to get into it just because it's not your typical Young Adult book, it has a lot of religion in it.
