Norma Budden (normabudden) I dropped back in after not feeling well for a few days. I did what I had to do online and that was about it. However, I have been doing a little reading and managed to publish two blogs last night.

The first, Saving Rachel deals with the first book I read as part of John Locke's Donovan Creed series.

The second post features Marshall Dotson, the person behind the creation of my cover for An Affair To Remember. If you would like to read about my experience while employing him, please feel free to visit this blog by clicking here.

Great job with the blogs, Norma. I'm behind by several myself, but I have a slew of new release items coming out in the next few weeks and I've been buried in draft and edit work.

C.S. Yelle (csyelle) | 41 comments My day is started. I'm up early and headed out to supervise the pumping of a tanker of glycol into a cooling system at a hospital. Then tonight I speak at a bookstore about the Journey of a Book from concept to bookstore shelf(my part is the idea and development) to a Mentoring group of kids and their mentors. Thinking I will give each of the mentees a book. Then I will hurry home and try to increase my exposure of Reclaiming Ter Chadain via my networks and the like. And then, if I have time, I will try to write a few pages on Book 2 in the Protector of Ter Chadain Series.
Pretty slow day. How is your day shaping up?

CS, sounds like you have your share to do. Beside my typical day filled with charitable grant applications, I'm in the final edits for a sci-fi story call "The Pheesching Sector" as well as the final draft work on the second book in my "Santa Conspiracy" series. My brother is pushing for 2 new paperback novel releases and 4 new digital releases (3 stories, 1 book) within the next 4 weeks. It's possible that we could tie or break my September sales record today :-)

My day (Wednesday the 26th) is shaping up better than yesterday (Tuesday the 25th). I wasn't feeling well. I think I got whatever the rest of the family had. No fun at all. Couldn't sit up for very long at all.

Other than still feeling a little weak and achy, I'm doing much better.

Hope y'all are having a great one!

Lynn,
I hope you are back on your feet or should I say seat very soon. It can be frustrating watching time slip past when we wish we could be writing.
Maybe it is just me, but my mind is always writing and I hope some day I can put that into all my body parts: so to speak.

Great to hear someone made some writing progress. I am up now and ready to get at it again today. Had a wonderful time with the Mentor group. I think I have 15 new fans. 7 girls ages 10-15 at risk in their home or already placed in a foster home attended with their mentors. I gave the girls copies of my book and they all were thrilled. A few mentors bought copies. So if I didn't get to write yesterday, I think it still was a good day for C.S.Yelle the writer.
Hope you all have productive days and keep your dreams alive and well.
C.S.
