Hi, Sandy, everyone. You are all welcome to view my sales numbers and inside marketing plans. I'm excited by every new voice that joins the process. I'd be thrilled to see the daily emails jump to hundreds.

Sandy, I just checked my box and don't think I have your email, so Sandy (everyone) please email me at tim@greateastdevelopment.net to get added to the list.

Looking forward to sipping tea in Paris with all my bestselling friends (and we'll be able to say that process started with our circles right here :-))

Hi, Nel, everyone. I'm always happy to accept any information (which I would never share) but I don't require anyone to share personal sales in order to receive mine. But if you want to share or think you know something that could help, by all means please let me know :-)

Again, the email is tim@greateastdevelopment.net

Hi Tim I started a new thread about experiences with publishers. The idea being that we share our experiences obviously sales comes into it so I would love to see your figures and more importantly find out how you did it. By the way I just craeted a QR for my website which I am going to use on Facebook.

This review is from: Johnny Oops (Kindle Edition)
I went into this expecting a diary-type book about the trials and tribulations of a typical growing guy... something that has been "done to death" over the years, since Adrian Mole burst onto the scene many years ago.

... and yes, this WAS the trials and tribulations of a... well, a guy... but that is where any similarity ended.

Levine showed superb style throughout this book, especially with the humorous elements that make this book into the great read it is. There are more than enough twists and turns in this book to keep you reading. Everything from the characters to the places are written so consistently well, the story flows and rolls between superb bouts of apathy and frustration as Johnny paddles his way through life.

It's a while since I bought a book based on just wanting a good laugh, and Johnny Oops delivered on every level, and then a few I had never considered. I have to recommend this purely based on that fact.

The second book is already primed in my Kindle and will be taking a prominent role in my TBR list. So, if you are looking for a genuinely fun read, I recommend this whole-heartedly.

Excellent!

Linell Rae Jeppsen | 71 comments Hi Tim...it could have been operator error (it usually is with me) but I got a mail delivery failure notice on your e-mail. So here is my info; www.linelljeppsen.com, or nelj88@hotmail.com.
As for sales... One of the best spikes in my sales occured when we experinced a 4.6 earthquake up here a few weeks ago. I was talking on the threads about how my latest novel, Story Time, has an earthquake that basically destroys the west coast. Also, I talk about what could happen if Grand Coulee dam failed. Whoosh! Sales just soared for a few days...without any real promoting on my part. LOL! nel

Hi, Nel. I forwarded the group email to you this morning. I'm always excited to hear any thoughts or ideas...but feel free to be silent if you prefer. A lot of the authors receiving our sales numbers and marketing thoughts have been finding it helpful. We're just hoping to keep it alive after Christmas (since it largely has to do with my "Santa Shop" title :-)

Sandy Wolters (sandywolters) | 112 comments Good morning everyone,

I wanted to let you know that I am introducing author Linell Jeppsen and featuring her novel, Story Time, on my blog, Sandy's Spotlight.

http://sandywolters.weebly.com/2/post...

This is an exciting post because I reviewed Story Time as a Guest Reviewer for the Paranormal Romance Guild. I am also hosting a book discussion for Story Time that you can link to from my blog. If you've read Story Time by Linell Jeppsen, we'd love to have you ask questions and get insight into the book from the author herself on the book discussion blog. Everyone is welcome!

If you haven't read Story Time, and the book appeals to you, the book discussion will run for two weeks. You have time to read the book and join us.

It would be great if you stopped by and gave Linell some love! Please share this blog with your friends and family.

Lynn Hallbrooks (lynnhallbrooks) | 180 comments I just wanted to make mention that Independent Authors and Writers Website is back up and running. It is a place where Independent Authors can post their bodies of work on their own page and be among their fellow authors. The goal is to look as professional as possible. I used to do a daily column on there before it shut down. Personal and professional conflicts that admin had have been put to rest. The site doesn't have all the bells and whistles that it once did but it is back up for all to enjoy and that's the important thing. So please stop by and check it out.

http://www.independentauthors.org/

BTW if you were already a member you should be able to access it like you did before.

Have a great one!

Lynn

Linell Rae Jeppsen | 71 comments Hi Folks- It's Nel. I wanted to let everyone know that my science fiction-post apocalyptic novel, Story Time has been nominated the best read of 2011, by the reviewers at the PRG, or The Paranormal Romance Guild! Please go to www.paranormalromanceguild.com to vote for your favorite book and author. Here is a blurb for Story Time...
In the not too distant future a young woman bears witness to the end of her world.
Earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions rock the planet, reducing cities to smoking rubble, burying entire islands and coastlines beneath cataclysmic waves.
Religious fervor and human evil erupt and entwine, becoming a maelstrom of madness in the days after, bringing with it the horror of apocalyptic war.
As a population in the depths of despair struggles to overcome insurmountable odds, can a single glimmer of hope flare into a beacon for the survivors?
This is her tale…the world is ours…and now, it’s STORY TIME.
Thank you...Nel

T.K. Geering (flowingwithgo) | 100 comments Thank you for your lovely comments and both books are very popular if I say so myself.

I want to push you in a different direction though....
Count To Ten by Sheila Mary Taylor is her family's personal cross they had to carry when their eighteen year old athletic son was diagnosed with cancer. Not only could he probably lose his leg but he could also die!

Just reading the reviews found me welling up.

Count To Ten stands at No. 23 on Amazon. I haven't had the chance to read it yet but that will be rectified.

Here is a link to the reviews

http://www.amazon.com/Count-To-Ten-eb...

The title came from a note left on his pillow by his dad after surgery "I've counted your toes and you have ten!"
Every parent can empathise with that.

Lynn Hallbrooks (lynnhallbrooks) | 180 comments Teresa,

This is very generous of you to help support her by talking about her book. I went in and 'liked' her books.

I did get sidetracked. I saw a book entitled "Surviving September 11th..." I just had to take a peek. Looks interesting but a bit expensive for an e-book in my humble opinion.

Lynn

message 684: by T.K. (new)

T.K. Geering (flowingwithgo) | 100 comments Oh thank you Lynn, Sheila will be so pleased. I haven't had the chance to read it yet but most of the authors on my publishers web site (Night Publishing) have. There isn't a dry eye on the site. Just reading the reviews brought a lump to my throat.
Like Goodreads, Night Publishing is a very supportive site. We cheer all the highs from every author/writer and help prop up any lows :-)

Hi, Everyone. 'Hope it's been a great January for you! I'm just now getting settled into a new schedule so will definitely be a little more visible that I have been the last couple of months. Though I have projects coming out my ears, I really have missed all the time with friends.

Edwin, I will definitely be doing more reviews for you soon, but my brother has taken on several new projects of late and I'm beta reading several back-to-back for him as well as finishing up some promised TBR's and reviews for friends. Remind me in a few weeks :-)
