This is going to be my first post.. so here we go..Hello! I am Letitia and I LOVE to read! I am an avid reader. I read close to a book a day and romance is my poison of choice. I am a substitute teacher and mother so I read as a form of relaxation. I am always looking for new books and a way to change up what I am reading. Unfortunately, I do not have very many friends who are as enthusiastic about books as I am or are into completely different genre's. I am really excited that I am now in a group with people who are not only passionate about books, but can give me some good reading material advice as well.

Hey Letitia - welcome to the group! I can totally sympathise with not having friends into the same reading interests - I have no-one around me in real life either. This group was a god-send - finding reading friends, new books and chatting away! What's not to love?!
Don't be backward in coming forward and asking about anything. Members here will help wherever they can ~ otherwise PM one of us mods :D

I used to devour two or three romances a week. Since becoming an author, I spend more time writing than reading since I am rather prolific. I do try to squeeze in a good book now and then.
I was born in California and now live in Texas and am a zumbaholic.

I joined the Christine Feehan group first since I was on a kick with her Carpathian books and really keen to chat abour them ~ and then I looked to see which groups the members I was chatting with were in, and (logically) joined this one :D
Hi, I'm Barbara. I read almost all genres, but my favorite books have romance as part of the plot. I love talking about books and I found out that reading challenges help keep me from spinning in circles wondering what book to read next.

Hi there! I'm fairly new to Goodreads in general, but I've already accumulated quite a long list of books to read! Currently working on On Dublin Street by Samantha Young. Then moving onward to The Professional by Kresley Cole. I'm all about reading challenges! I can read up to a book a day when I'm on a roll! I welcome suggestions, particularly contemporary romance!

I'm only a contemporary romance lover in the MM sub-genre, so I won't be much help, but you'll find heaps of ppl with similar reading taste here :D
Hi Melissa! I hope you have fun here! You should be able to find lots of ideas for new books in the challenges, but if you are looking for more CR I'd fist suggest you finish the On Dublin Street series - so good!! Some of my other favorites are Jill Shalvis, Shannon Stacey, Jaci Burton, Robyn Carr and Lorelei James (hot cowboys!). Leaning more into RS, Laura Kaye is one of my favorites. Oh, there are so many more, I just need to stop!

I'll definitely check them out. So far, LOVING On Dublin Street. At this point reading the rest is basically a given! I've heard of Laura Kaye before on some of the other threads. Which of her series would you recommend to start with?
The first book of hers I read was Hearts in Darkness, a sequel finally came out this year, Love in the Light. Both were so very good! And Hearts in Darkness is pretty short too.Otherwise, I really enjoyed the Hard Ink series - starts with Hard as It Gets. They were pretty good in audio too! I'm really looking forward to her new series, the first just came out. It has some overlap with the Hard Ink series, at least in characters.

I am a reading machine and I am looking for a challenge that challenges me. :-) I found this group by accident but hey I needed a challenge and it seems you guys are up to it. I cannot wait to start one and to delve into my TBR pile.
I am into many Romance books with genre like: Paranormal, Erotica, suspense, Sci-Fi, and many more. Some of my favorite authors currently are Beth Flynn, Lauren Gilley, Madeline Sheehan, Karen Marie Moning, Linsay Sands, and many many more.
