Me: Inspired by Fire-started by Stephen King, it will sort of be similar, but none of the history or anything. If its too close, I'll edit, of course. :)

So this girl used to have a bad path and took drugs (acid, coke, marijuana, something like that) from a dealer who wasn't being entirely honest about the entire ingredients. One batch went wrong, and she developed pryokenesis (fire manipulation from the mind) from the mix of ingredients mixing together in a negative fashion.

Me: I know, but in the comics, there's always a reason behind their new power.

Ex.
Joker-> Pushed into acid
Batman-> Viewed his parents' murder
Cat woman-> Abused by workers and murdered by boss/brought back to life by cats somehow? That confused me

See my point? It feels unfinished to me if there's no reason behind. :3
