A Feast For Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire, #4) by George R.R. Martin (buddy 4th in series read) start date September 7th

114) We finally know what happened to Edmund. I feel bad for his pregnant wife. What kind of father or was it grandfather would do that to his granddaughter or daughter? Plus, the whole noose around the neck????
115) Now I guess everyone will think twice before breaking an engagement to a Frey. Do you think anything will happen to Lancel?
116) I like Jaime's aunt a whole lot. I would like to see more of her.
117) A very different version of Lysa was presented to us. Thoughts?
118) Arya. Dear Goodness! She's blind. I hope it's temporary.
119) Do you think this is how Varys and the lot collect information? Use children like Arya to uncover secrets?
120) Surprised Gilly and Samwell did the deed?
121) He really didn't have a choice but to stay with Gilly. What are your thoughts about this?
122) All the talk of dragons is interesting. Did Aemon wanted him to tell them they'd gotten the prophecy wrong. A dragon is sexless. Made me wonder how you make baby dragons, but I digress. So there was a prophecy about the comet. Did we know that already? I don't recall hearing of one.
123) I think I forgot to mention in the chapter with Victarion and Euron, but what do you make of the story of the egg thrown into the sea by Euron?
124) I wonder where will Samwell end up?

Hang in there...this one is almost done!

114) We finally know what happened to Edmund. I feel bad for his pregnant wife. What kind of father or was it grandfather would do that to his granddaughter or daughter? Plus, the whole noose around the neck????
Remember when the daughter was crying all the way through her wedding? (like Prince Albert of Monaco's
115) Now I guess everyone will think twice before breaking an engagement to a Frey. Do you think anything will happen to Lancel? I think Lancel, like Cersei, has gone of the deep end. Nothing good can come of this. It's funny about his wife though, that they call her Gatehouse Ami. That was too funny!
116) I like Jaime's aunt a whole lot. I would like to see more of her. Yep, she reminds me of Tyrion.
117) A very different version of Lysa was presented to us. Thoughts? She was very different in her youth, then something changed to make her snap. Didn't she get pregnant from her one-nighter with Littlefinger and lose the baby (or she drank a potion to purposefully lose the baby). Or was this just speculation? See, too many characters! Ugh!
118) Arya. Dear Goodness! She's blind. I hope it's temporary. I just have to say I am very unhappy with the direction GRRM has taken Arya.
119) Do you think this is how Varys and the lot collect information? Use children like Arya to uncover secrets? That's an interesting thought!
120) Surprised Gilly and Samwell did the deed? Yes and no. I suppose it was just a matter of time. The boy is only human!
121) He really didn't have a choice but to stay with Gilly. What are your thoughts about this? He is her protector now. I don't think he could allow himself to abandon her. He really cares for her too.
I don't recall a prophecy either. What I do remember is the comet appearing when Dany walked through the fire and the dragons were born. Also, Melisandre believed the comet was a sign meant for Stannis to be king. (right?)
Yeah, not sure how dragon eggs are made either!
123) I think I forgot to mention in the chapter with Victarion and Euron, but what do you make of the story of the egg thrown into the sea by Euron? If that egg is still in the sea, then it could very well hatch someday.
124) I wonder where will Samwell end up? I wonder if he could leave the night's watch , marry Gilly and live on his parents' estate? On the other hand, I am not sure he wants to leave the night's watch. He feels he needs to help with the fight against the Others. He was very unhappy that he broke his vows (although we do know that MANY of the brothers often broke their vows in the brothel).
OK, I just have to ask, is Davos REALLY dead? If so, I'm disappointed in how this was handled. We don't get his POV at all, then we learn he's dead. HUH? Why spend so much time on someone and then kill him off "off stage?" At least with Ned and Robb we saw their murders. OK, rant over.

114) We finally know what happened to Edmure. I feel bad for his pregnant wife. What kind of father or was it grandfather would do that to his granddaughter or daughter? Plus, the whole noose around the neck????
It is terrible. The grandfather is a little twisted. I hate to sound stupid, but I was getting the logistics confused in my wee little brain as to how Edmure got outside the keep. It took me awhile to remember that they were not at Riverrun – but at the Twins for what is now referred to as the Red Wedding. Duh! I wonder how Jaime will solve this dilemma?
115) Now I guess everyone will think twice before breaking an engagement to a Frey. Do you think anything will happen to Lancel?
Man-oh-man! I don’t think old man Frey will let that go unpunished.
116) I like Jaime's aunt a whole lot. I would like to see more of her.
Yes, I liked Genna Lannister too. Interesting, what she said to Jaime, that it is Tyrion who is most like his father.
117) A very different version of Lysa was presented to us. Thoughts?
**shrugs shoulders** I didn’t think too much of it. It was when she was a kid and it sounded like she wanted Jaime’s attention even then.
118) Arya. Dear Goodness! She's blind. I hope it's temporary.
What a way to end a chapter! I hope it is temporary too. Maybe she’ll be blind until she finds her direwolf. Or maybe it is Nymeria who is blind? Or maybe she’ll only be able to see when she is Mind Melded with Nymeria? Too many questions!
119) Do you think this is how Varys and the lot collect information? Use children like Arya to uncover secrets?
Varys? Huh. Good point. Maybe. I tend to think he is a skinchanger too and becomes a little mouse or spider and crawls along the walls.
120) Surprised Gilly and Samwell did the deed?
Very surprised. I wasn’t expecting that.
121) He really didn't have a choice but to stay with Gilly. What are your thoughts about this?
I think he really cares about her, but he is more concerned with breaking his vows; he obviously took them seriously. I don’t think he wants to let Jon Snow down either.
122) All the talk of dragons is interesting. Did Aemon want him to tell them they'd gotten the prophecy wrong. A dragon is sexless. Made me wonder how you make baby dragons, but I digress. So there was a prophecy about the comet. Did we know that already? I don't recall hearing of one.
I think Aemon did want to tell them they got it wrong. But does that mean he was in cohoots with Melisandre? I don’t like that, b/c I don’t like her, but I liked Aemon. If they burn Aemon and put his body in the sea with that dragon egg, will it become a real dragon? Everyone had a prophecy about the comet, but I think only this one is right, LOL!
123) I think I forgot to mention in the chapter with Victarion and Euron, but what do you make of the story of the egg thrown into the sea by Euron?
First, I doubted it. Second, I wondered what would happened if it hatched down there? Would you get a sea monster? Also, see answer to #122.
124) I wonder where will Samwell end up?
Wow! I hadn’t thought of that. I just figured he’d go and come back. He may end up with Dany.

Thanks, Sandy! I need the encouragement. But I did like the chapters yesterday.

#114 – I'm still hoping Jaime manages to save Edmure and the BlackFish.
I didn’t realize, until writing the answer to this question, that Jaime will have to rely on his political savvy – or "brains over brawn" – in this situation. Which may lead him to be one of the surviving characters in the story. Nah, not with GRRM writing it. See how cynical I’ve become?
#115 – I think Lancel, like Cersei, has gone off the deep end. Nothing good can come of this. It's funny about his wife though, that they call her Gatehouse Ami. That was too funny!
True. You would think they were taking the same stuff Charlie Sheen took. Gatehouse Ami – that did make me smile a little bit; I liked the Daven Lannister character too.
#116 – Yep, she reminds me of Tyrion.
Mind Meld!
#117 – Didn't she get pregnant from her one-nighter with Littlefinger and lose the baby (or she drank a potion to purposefully lose the baby).
I think her father, Hoster Tully, made her drink a concoction that caused her to abort the baby.
#118 – I just have to say I am very unhappy with the direction GRRM has taken Arya.
I sitting here chuckling pathetically. You said a mouthful.
#120 & 121– I suppose it was just a matter of time. The boy is only human!... He is her protector now.
For someone who was lusting after her for a while, I thought he was pretty angst ridden; but in all honesty, that was probably true to his nature. But part of me wanted him to think of Gilly’s feelings at his treatment/avoidance of her. I think he’ll make a better protector then he realizes.
#123 – If that egg is still in the sea, then it could very well hatch someday.
Mind Meld!
#124 – I wonder if he could leave the Night's Watch, marry Gilly and live on his parents' estate?
I wish! I think he’s supposed to be Jon Snow’s maester too, right?
OK, I just have to ask, is Davos REALLY dead?
I don’t think he is really dead, Sandy. I think there is a plot twist GRRM still has in store for us.
Lisa Kay's question: Why didn’t Cat/Arya respond to the “Lord Snow” comment made by Dareon? Or was his death answer enough?

Oh my gosh I totally forgot that Jon wants Sam to be his Maester...well isn't this a fine kettle of fish!
I am rooting for Jaime to survive. He has grown on me.
RE: Davos, yep, you're probably right. I'm thinking of sneaking a peak at the Table of Contents for next book...
Hah, a sea monster, now there's a thought! Maybe Euron's horn will call a sea monster!!

I do like the thought of the Dragon being raised if they burn Aemon.
I can't believe I called Edmure Edmund. Getting my fantasy book characters mixed up. lol

Done with the reading. Working on the questions now.

125. Cersei had to listen to what happened to Ser Loras TWICE? In detail? Comments. Arrows, broken ribs and burning oil? Do you think he will die?
126. If Cersei keeps sending everyone who displeases her to the Mad Scientist, Qyburn, she’s not going to have anyone left willing to hunt dwarfs. And Lady Falyse is alive but “not entirely comfortable”… **shivers**
127. Does Lord Hallyne of the Guild of Alchemist really have a dragon egg? If so, whose royal blood will be used to hatch it?
128. Cersei continues to have banking issues; will this be her downfall? Or her interference with the High Septon’s/Sparrow’s conversion of the whores on the Street of Silk?
129. Lord Gyles seemed pretty sick to me, when last we saw/heard him. We know Cersei is paranoid, but is she right? Is someone really hastening his death?
130. Whoa! King Tommen finally REALLY stood up to his mother, and in defense of his wife, Queen Margaery. Cersei really lost it there and seemed excessively paranoid and cruel to me. I think there is a possibility that it may be her own son who turns against her. Do you?
131. “…the valonquar shall wrap his hand about your pale white throat and choke the life from you…” was foretold by Maggy the Frog to Cersei. We know “volonaqar” means brother. Now the question is: which one? Tyrion or Jamie?
132. What nefarious plans does Cersei have for the “little queen”; death or false accusations of adultery? Or does one lead to the other?
133. Am I the only one who was thinking what a massive army the Others will have if whoever is hanging all those people keeps hanging them?
134. Just when Brienne is about to tell Gendry who his sire is, she’s interrupted. Think she’ll live to tell him?
135. I’ll admit it. I STILL don’t know who it was pretending to be the Hound. Do you?
136. Gross. All that description about Biter disfiguring Brienne. Disgusting. And that whole “sword-tongue” thing at the end of the chapter was because someone thrust a real sword through the back of his head, right? Not anything beastly or paranormal. Was it Ser Hyle, Gendry, Septon Meribald, or maybe even Willow?

125. Cersei had to listen to what happened to Ser Loras TWICE? In detail? Comments. Arrows, broken ribs and burning oil? Do you think he will die?
If the poor guy doesn't die he will surely be disfigured. I think Cersei, evil wench that she is, enjoys hearing about her enemies' suffering.
126. If Cersei keeps sending everyone who displeases her to the Mad Scientist, Qyburn, she’s not going to have anyone left willing to hunt dwarfs. And Lady Falyse is alive but “not entirely comfortable”… **shivers** Shiver is right. I'm glad we're not getting the details on that. I guess leaving it to our imagination is bad enough.
127. Does Lord Hallyne of the Guild of Alchemist really have a dragon egg? If so, whose royal blood will be used to hatch it? Hmmm, I don't recall this part.
128. Cersei continues to have banking issues; will this be her downfall? Or her interference with the High Septon’s/Sparrow’s conversion of the whores on the Street of Silk? I think her downfall will be a combination of things.
129. Lord Gyles seemed pretty sick to me, when last we saw/heard him. We know Cersei is paranoid, but is she right? Is someone really hastening his death? It's hard to say. The guy has been coughing up blood...was he always coughing up blood?
130. Whoa! King Tommen finally REALLY stood up to his mother, and in defense of his wife, Queen Margaery. Cersei really lost it there and seemed excessively paranoid and cruel to me. I think there is a possibility that it may be her own son who turns against her. Do you? Cruel is right! Poor Tommen...to have such a mother. Right now he's having a child's reaction to her authority, but later, when he is king, he could very well put her away or marry her off!
131. “…the valonquar shall wrap his hand about your pale white throat and choke the life from you…” was foretold by Maggy the Frog to Cersei. We know “volonaqar” means brother. Now the question is: which one? Tyrion or Jamie? I did not know that "valonqar" means brother! So interesting. I can see Tyrion killing her (since we've seen him kill Shae and Tywin), but not Jaime.
132. What nefarious plans does Cersei have for the “little queen”; death or false accusations of adultery? Or does one lead to the other? I can't help but think of Anne Boleyn. False accusations of adultery and incest with her brother led to her execution. The parallels are interesting.
133. Am I the only one who was thinking what a massive army the Others will have if whoever is hanging all those people keeps hanging them? I keep thinking what an apt title this book is. Every time we turn around there are crows eating dead bodies.
134. Just when Brienne is about to tell Gendry who his sire is, she’s interrupted. Think she’ll live to tell him? I think she'll live but I don't think she'll be the one to tell him.
135. I’ll admit it. I STILL don’t know who it was pretending to be the Hound. Do you? Wasn't it Biter?
136. Yes, that was really gross. Poor Brienne...she was already described as ugly...can you imagine what she will look like now?? Yes, I think it was a sword and I think it was Gendry.

137. I found myself rooting for Jaime in the parlay with Blackfish. Anyone else?
138. Jaime offered Edmure in exchange for Lady Sybelle Westerling and her 3 daughters. I thought that was a pretty good deal!
139. Surprised that Jaime freed Edmure?
140. I thought Jaime’s offer to Edmure was very generous, especially considering the Tullys are outnumbered and out-armed. Do you think Edmure will accept the terms?
141. What is it about singers and songs in this series? Edmure’s reaction to the singer seems like fear….was this the same singer who sang the Rains of Castemere at the Red Wedding?
142. Lisa Kay asked this earlier, but it’s worth visiting again: was Gyles murdered or did he die of natural causes?
143. I am losing track of what is real and what is fabricated in the characters’ minds. When Pycelle tells Cersei that Margaery was asking for Moon Tea, this is proof that Margaery is doing the deed with someone other than her (too young for doing the deed) husband. Now, did Pycelle make it up to appease Cersei, or is it really true? Cersei had been pushing one of the Kettleblacks to sleep with the young Queen, did it finally happen when Loras went away? Or could she be sleeping with someone else? Or was she really sleeping with her brother? Maybe she was asking for it to intentionally cause suspicion, but that would be a very dangerous game to play, no?
144. Did I miss something? Why is the singer accused? Were his confessions true or torture-created? How about that torture scene? **shudders**
145. I don’t trust Lady Merryweather. I think she’s up to something, perhaps plotting with her husband? He seemed mighty uncomfortable at that dinner.
146. Uh-oh, is Cersei about to get raped?

#125 - I think Cersei, evil wench that she is, enjoys hearing about her enemies' suffering.
I think you are right! She was enjoying the "taste" of Margaery’s tears both during the hug and later b/f she slept.
#126 - Shiver is right. I'm glad we're not getting the details on that. I guess leaving it to our imagination is bad enough.
Too true for me! Glad GRRM is holding out for now, but I don’t know if he’ll continue to do so.
#127 – Hmmm, I don't recall this part.
Pg. 763, paragraph 5, Lord Hallyne of the Guild of Alchemists presented himself, to ask that his pyromancers be allowed to hatch any dragon’s eggs that might turn up upon Dragonstone, now that the isle was safely back in royal hands.
#128 - I think her downfall will be a combination of things.
Ditto!
#129 – was he always coughing up blood?
He was always coughing, but he has been coughing up blood for a while; it is a progression of the disease, if you ask me.
#131 – I did not know that "valonqar" means brother!
I would infer this from: Pg. 760 “I bring you justice. I bring you the head of your valonqar.” Next paragraph: The old Valyrian word sent a chill though her, though it also gave her a tingle of hope. “The Imp is no longer my brother, if he ever was,” she declared.
#133 – Every time we turn around there are crows eating dead bodies.
True enough. The Others are going to take over, at this rate.
#135 –Wasn't it Biter?
Pg. 796-797: She whispers “Sapphires” to him…twists her blade (which I assume is a killing blow) and …
She stepped back and let him fall…So, I would assume the first guy she killed was the Hound impersonator and Biter was with him and attacked her second.
…and Biter crashed into her, shrieking.
#136 – Yes, I think it was a sword and I think it was Gendry.
Good. I thought so too, but I wanted validation.

Well, I have just finished AFFC and that is exactly how I feel! While I am eager to see what happens next, I think a break from the madness and violence will be a welcome respite. :-)

#127 So have they found more dragon eggs?
#131 Yep, and that is also explained later...and the second time I was paying attention!
#135 Ahhh, I hadn't realized she was fighting a second person. I only thought it was the person with the Hound's helm and that it turned out to be Biter. Gotcha.

137. I found myself rooting for Jaime in the parlay with Blackfish. Anyone else?
I did too. I like how he respects his enemy, something some of his enemies don’t seem to do.
138. Jaime offered Edmure in exchange for Lady Sybelle Westerling and her 3 daughters. I thought that was a pretty good deal!
It was a very good deal! I was terribly surprised.
139. Surprised that Jaime freed Edmure?
Yup.
140. I thought Jaime’s offer to Edmure was very generous, especially considering the Tullys are outnumbered and out-armed. Do you think Edmure will accept the terms?
Maybe. Don’t know. He’d be foolish not to.
141. What is it about singers and songs in this series? Edmure’s reaction to the singer seems like fear….was this the same singer who sang the Rains of Castemere at the Red Wedding?
I don’t know what his deal is, especially when the series name is A SONG of Fire and Ice? He doesn’t seem too fond of them. I think it was the same Red Wedding singer.
142. Lisa Kay asked this earlier, but it’s worth visiting again: was Gyles murdered or did he die of natural causes?
I think natural causes.
I think Pycelle threw Margaery under the buss to save his ass. Or maybe he has some sinister master plan. I don’t think any Kettleblack slept with young Queen Margaery. I don’t think she is sleeping with anyone, sexually, male or female, including her brother. Asking for the tea to cause suspicion? Nope. I think Pycelle threw her under the bus; however, I’ve been wrong before.
144. Did I miss something? Why is the singer accused? Were his confessions true or torture-created? How about that torture scene? **shudders**
Because GRRM hates singers? They were torture-created out of him. Didn’t like Qyburn torture methods; a bit much for me and too long.
145. I don’t trust Lady Merryweather. I think she’s up to something, perhaps plotting with her husband? He seemed mighty uncomfortable at that dinner.
I think she’s up to something too. She switches with queen she sleeps with? To ripe for betrayal of either side to the side that is winning.
146. Uh-oh, is Cersei about to get raped?
Pretty darn close it, but I don’t hear her saying no, just using delaying phrases. Seems like she is just using her usually bargaining tool.

I'm pretty sick and tired of the violence in this one. Four books of it, actually. I don't know if I'll make it to book five, ladies.

I've been wondering the same thing myself...probably another mystery we may never get the answer to...or if we do get the answer, we have to read 2500 pages to get there!

I'm pretty sick and tired of the violence in this one. Four ..."
Can't say I blame you but I really want to know what Dany and Tyrion are up to.

125. Cersei had to listen to what happened to Ser Loras TWICE? In detail? Comments. Arrows, broken ribs and burning oil? Do you think he will die?
Unless they get the guy who can give the kiss of fire or is it life I think he'll die. Course the way he'll probably look he may not want to live.
126. If Cersei keeps sending everyone who displeases her to the Mad Scientist, Qyburn, she’s not going to have anyone left willing to hunt dwarfs. And Lady Falyse is alive but “not entirely comfortable”… **shivers**
Ditto on the shudder and shivers. Gah!
127. Does Lord Hallyne of the Guild of Alchemist really have a dragon egg? If so, whose royal blood will be used to hatch it?
Arianne's? Could this be the three headed dragon's egg? Who'd be the daddy or mommy?
128. Cersei continues to have banking issues; will this be her downfall? Or her interference with the High Septon’s/Sparrow’s conversion of the whores on the Street of Silk?
I think this might be her downfall. *Crosses fingers* Tired of Cersei.
129. Lord Gyles seemed pretty sick to me, when last we saw/heard him. We know Cersei is paranoid, but is she right? Is someone really hastening his death?
Not sure about this one. She may just be paranoid and thinks everyone thinks like her.
130. Whoa! King Tommen finally REALLY stood up to his mother, and in defense of his wife, Queen Margaery. Cersei really lost it there and seemed excessively paranoid and cruel to me. I think there is a possibility that it may be her own son who turns against her. Do you?
That would be interesting to see.
131. “…the valonquar shall wrap his hand about your pale white throat and choke the life from you…” was foretold by Maggy the Frog to Cersei. We know “volonaqar” means brother. Now the question is: which one? Tyrion or Jamie?
I wondered the same thing. I'm betting on Jaime.
132. What nefarious plans does Cersei have for the “little queen”; death or false accusations of adultery? Or does one lead to the other?
I think she hopes so.
133. Am I the only one who was thinking what a massive army the Others will have if whoever is hanging all those people keeps hanging them?
Why? Do you think they'll become others?
134. Just when Brienne is about to tell Gendry who his sire is, she’s interrupted. Think she’ll live to tell him?
We'll have to wait and see.
135. I’ll admit it. I STILL don’t know who it was pretending to be the Hound. Do you?
At this point in the story I'm clueless.
I thought it'd be Ser Hyle.

137. I found myself rooting for Jaime in the parlay with Blackfish. Anyone else?
Me!
138. Jaime offered Edmure in exchange for Lady Sybelle Westerling and her 3 daughters. I thought that was a pretty good deal!
Me too.
139. Surprised that Jaime freed Edmure?
Yes. But did he really. I thought he was to be a prisoner? Did I miss that? Wait I see now you meant freeing him from his bindings. No I wasn't surprised. Where would Edmure go? He's surrounded by the enemy who'd love to kill him.
140. I thought Jaime’s offer to Edmure was very generous, especially considering the Tullys are outnumbered and out-armed. Do you think Edmure will accept the terms?
I think so.
141. What is it about singers and songs in this series? Edmure’s reaction to the singer seems like fear….was this the same singer who sang the Rains of Castemere at the Red Wedding?
I couldn't figure this one out either. Clueless.
142. Lisa Kay asked this earlier, but it’s worth visiting again: was Gyles murdered or did he die of natural causes?
I wish I knew.
I think the drinking of moon tea is real, but is it for Margaery or one of her cousins? Also, I have no clue who she's sleeping with. Is she ever alone?
144. Did I miss something? Why is the singer accused? Were his confessions true or torture-created? How about that torture scene? **shudders**
I think this was the only person Cersei could conceive of having the opportunity to sleep with Margaery. I believe the confession was fake and forced.
145. I don’t trust Lady Merryweather. I think she’s up to something, perhaps plotting with her husband? He seemed mighty uncomfortable at that dinner.
146. Uh-oh, is Cersei about to get raped?
I doubt it. I think she's willing.

147) Wow! What a revelation. Arianne was to be Dany's siter-in-law. No doubt as to whose side that group is on. I can't help wondering why they agree to marry Myrcella into the family in the first place? Is this one of those keep your enemies close things?
148) Poor Myrcella is scarred for life and missing an ear.
149) Dorne is still hers, but will there me greater punishment than her being locked up? Looks like she truly had feelings for Ayrs.
150) Do you think Quentyn is with Dany or on his way to be with her?
151) What do you make of Littlefinger's plans for Sansa?
152) Littlefinger seems to like Sansa's kisses a little too much. Anyone else worried about Littlefinger's unwanted advances?
153) Do you think little robert is too sick to survive? Could they be poisoning him? The asking about blood just made me wonder.
154) I think Sansa loves her cousin Robert even if he is a pain. He seems to rely on her. She's taking the place of his mother. What are your thoughts on all this?
155) Thoughts of Myranda Royce? Could she give Sansa trouble?

I thought I'd missed it. I don't recall it either.

Lisa, Did you skip ahead like Sandy and I? I have a couple more chapters and I'm done.

147) Wow! What a revelation. Arianne was to be Dany's siter-in-law. No doubt as to whose side that group is on. I can't help wondering why they agree to marry Myrcella into the family in the first place? Is this one of those keep your enemies close things? OH, so he had betrothed her to Viserys? Interesting. I think it's because he ultimately wanted revenge for the killing of Elia (Rhaegar's wife who was from Dorne) and her children
148) Poor Myrcella is scarred for life and missing an ear. Very sad. I couldn't figure out why Gerold did that...was he the one who betrayed the plot? I am a little slow, obviously! I wonder how her family will react?
149) Dorne is still hers, but will there me greater punishment than her being locked up? Looks like she truly had feelings for Ayrs. Yes, it did look that way and it was surprising! I think there will be trouble on a greater scale when the Lannisters find out. They will want to retaliate.
150) Do you think Quentyn is with Dany or on his way to be with her? I don't know but I hope to find out!
151) What do you make of Littlefinger's plans for Sansa? Littlefinger is pervy and creepy! I still don't know how he can marry her off when she's already married. He's assuming he will find Tyrion. Maybe he already knows where he is?
152) Littlefinger seems to like Sansa's kisses a little too much. Anyone else worried about Littlefinger's unwanted advances? EXACTLY...Pervy and GROSS! However, I don't think he would "spoil" her since that would ruin his plans of world domination.
153) Do you think little robert is too sick to survive? Could they be poisoning him? The asking about blood just made me wonder. I definitely think Littlefinger wants to get rid of him. Perhaps he is poisoning him.
154) I think Sansa loves her cousin Robert even if he is a pain. He seems to rely on her. She's taking the place of his mother. What are your thoughts on all this? I like how she mothers him and takes care of him. I think she's really grown as a person since we first met her. She's only 13! I think that if she discovers someone is trying to hurt Robert she will do her best to save him.
155) Thoughts of Myranda Royce? Could she give Sansa trouble? I think she is a paid spy. Sansa is wise to keep her mouth shut.

Lisa, Did you skip ahead like Sandy and I? I have a couple more chapters and I'm done."
Those three chapters for tomorrow are fine with me. Let's get this done and over with.

147) Wow! What a revelation. Arianne was to be Dany's sister-in-law. No doubt as to whose side that group is on. I can't help wondering why they agree to marry Myrcella into the family in the first place? Is this one of those keep your enemies close things?
Yes. This is the spoiler I discovered when I was looking on Wiki Ice. Prince Doran Martell was not just sitting back idly, but planning strategically to avenge his sister. I don’t know why them wanted Pricess Myrcella either, except to make any dissenting groups a bit appeased.
148) Poor Myrcella is scarred for life and missing an ear.
I know. GRRM is scarring all his female characters lately; it is a bit much for me.
149) Dorne is still hers, but will there be greater punishment than her being locked up? Looks like she truly had feelings for Ayrs.
I think she has some bit regrets to get over. I understand her father’s reasoning for withholding vital information from her and yet I don’t. I think he is partly responsible – if only by a very small percentage – for the whole fiasco.
150) Do you think Quentyn is with Dany or on his way to be with her?
I hadn’t thought of that. Maybe.
151) What do you make of Littlefinger's plans for Sansa?
The dude is in a whole different category of evil. I wouldn’t count on Harry the Heir living long after any marriage to Sansa/Alayne.
152) Littlefinger seems to like Sansa's kisses a little too much. Anyone else worried about Littlefinger's unwanted advances?
I am. The dude is a perve.
153) Do you think little Robert is too sick to survive? Could they be poisoning him? The asking about blood just made me wonder.
I’ve wondered about his odds of survival and if he is being poisoned. Right now he is necessary to Littlefinger. I think the possibility of poisoning is strong.
154) I think Sansa loves her cousin Robert even if he is a pain. He seems to rely on her. She's taking the place of his mother. What are your thoughts on all this?
I think she does too. I don’t think she’d be very happy to find out if he was being poisoned.
155) Thoughts of Myranda Royce? Could she give Sansa trouble?
I don’t trust her. She definitely wants Sansa’s secrets.

#87 – You had suggested Tyrek might be conspiring with Varys. What would his motivation be, the fact that he may have also helped kill Robert and thus Varys is holding that over his head? If so, what are they conspiring? When we last saw Varys he was helping Tyrion up to Tywin's rooms. Did he flee with Tyrion or on his own? I hope we find out in ADWD!
I don't know if Tyrek is conspiring with Varys or not; I just wonder if he is with Varys. I there is a possibility he was kidnapped by him. Whether he went Stockholm Syndrome, I don't know. I just wondered, if he was napped, why him specifically.
#89 – The romantic in me would like to think so, but is Jaime capable of falling for someone? He has loved one woman his entire life, and that woman is the epitome of evil.
Good points. Especially about her being the epitome of evil. Plus, I’m finding GRRM doesn’t do romance, especially not HEA romance. Well, actually he doesn’t do HEA anything.
#91 – I think this speaks to her paranoia.
I think you hit the nail on the head!
#95 – I think she really suspects them since she herself committed incest with her brother.
I don’t suspect them of incest. Am I just being naïve?
#97 – Agree, way too much and just thrown out there like it's no big deal.
Anachronist called it "sadistic nastiness" on the comments to rameau's Review of AGoT. That works for me.
#98 – I could do without these characters, that's for sure! Is there such a thing as TOO MANY characters??
Yes, I’ve hit my saturation point. While some publishers tell authors to cut out or combine characters b/c it is too much for the average reader to keep track of, I have liked this story so far b/c there are soooo many characters. It makes it more realistic to have a lot of characters, IMHO. However, now it is too much. Especially when we are not heard much of the ones I want to know about.
#112 – We know he is a skilled fighter and won't go down easily.
Let’s hope not! Now the question is: will he make a political move or a physical threat toward Cersei?
#113 – At least now I am eager to see how GRRM gets rid of Cersei once and for all.
