Man! Reading all this makes me REALLY want to do the challenge, but I promised myself I'd take a challenge of... *sigh*
I have a question about this task: 1.5 (20 Points) Read two books from a "listopia" list and post the link to the list you choseDo both books have to come from the same listopia list or can they be from two separate lists? I'm assuming a single list, but I'm often wrong!
Where is the official challenge written? Is there a separate thread? Not sure if I'm going to participate but would like to see what the final tasks are.

Oct 21: Ellen Wittlinger

From the way it's written, I'd say from the single list, but if Cristen decides differently, then I'll defer to him.
Amy, the official challenge hasn't been posted yet, but we'll hopefully be getting to it soon. After all, it's almost time to start!
Hey all, looks like some people want to get started on planning for this challenge (which I can very much appreciate, I am excited to get started too!) Things are a bit hectic for me this week as I am moving halfway across the country, so I'm not going to be on goodreads very much :-(To answer the question about the listopia lists, yes I did mean to pick 2 books from one YA list, and to then include with your post a link to the list you chose. There are a quite a few options to choose from! Hopefully everyone has some fun with it :-)
It sounds like we can probably post the challenge officially since no one else has said anything about making any other changes?
Just wanted to let everyone know that the voting for October's group reads are up. There are some choices that would fit with the challenge topics, so go vote for your favorite!

Sorry I've been AWOL - I swear, every time I sign up to help run one of these, something happens. Last year, I was sick. This year, my boyfriend and I are splitting up and now I'm needing to move. Ugh. Just ugh.ANYway, I think we can officially post it.
Aw moving stinks. We're moving in November and I'm dreading it. I'm trying to go through things before we move so there is less to move. Just wish I had saved all the boxes!
Jesi, I am sorry to hear that you're going through such a tough time. I just finished moving, such a pain! I'm glad it's done now.
We have a lease overlap, so we'll get some stuff done before the big move, but still. Especially since we are both in the middle of taking classes, working full time and now have to change every little thing over to our new address. Stinks! I'm dreading November a bit now. My reading has declined as is. Blarg.
