Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 5137 comments I'm curious if the authors are Wiccan in their own lives because similar concepts are also used in the author's (the mother at least) adult books.

Kriselda Gray I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me - either that or she just did some really good research. :D

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 302 comments I think I've always assumed they were Wiccan, but who knows.

It's funny I remember reading the first book, when I was a sophmore or senior in school, and thinking how over sexed they were! I was scandalized! Ha-ha!!

Now it doesn't bother me. But it was strange seeing girls that had to be in Junio/Middle school so excited to by the last one. Hearing them talking about the book and discussing it was both pricelss and a bit disturbing.

Mary Bronson | 12 comments I guess I will be the only one on this thread who actually like the series. I mean I have liked it from book one. I know some of the stuff got on my nerves, character wise, but the story line is very addicting. I am waiting for my library to have the last book checked in so I can read it.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 302 comments You're not alone Mary! I actually do like them--though I need to finish the final two. It's just I'm well aware of the flaws.

Casey Anderson | 637 comments I loved them. I can't wait to read the last book when my library has it in.

Ashley Marie I devoured the first six books in the series, then wound up abandoning it because it took so long for me to pick up #7, and by then I'd drifted out of my high school-aged bubble and recognized how much slut-shaming and hypocrisy exists just in the main character herself. Naturally, once I'd realized this I happened upon books 7 & 8 within the same week, but I passed them along without ever reading them. I liked these when I was in high school and didn't know better -- the sexytimes made them feel more adult than the Twilight books, and when I was seventeen that was a huge plus lol.

Casey Anderson | 637 comments I would have never read a series like this in highschool, oddly, but in my 30s I enjoy it. I'm reading the last book now and so far I am liking it.
