Thank you! All of your choices look great!

I feel fortunate to have such a 'pro' on this site picking for me. I compared our books and you are so right, we only have 80 books in common but, of those 80 we rated them with 85% similiarity. Pretty good odds that if you liked a book, I should enjoy it as well. I will definately read Naked in Death and probably The Warlord Wants Forever since it's free on Amazon. Will try to read at least one of your favorites as well. Thanks so much for your thoughtout picks, can't wait to get started! "
# Thank you very much for the wonderful compliment, Diane ! *blushes* My ego just gained in weight at least 10 pounds.
Regarding your picks, I think that Naked in Death and The Warlord Wants Forever are very good choices but don't forget that they represent only the start to the two series, hence the following books get better and better as you advance.(The tenth book in the IAD series, Demon from the Dark is just amazing; I would have rec it to you but you have to understand at least some of the IAD universe).

Kimberly , thank you very much for the recs! I think I'm going for Bitten, since I've heard so many good things about it and maybe Keeper of the Dream , if I can get my hands on it!

Welcome to RRRC and welcome to your first PIFM challenge.
Here are your recs:

Oops, shame on me....big faux pas on my part. Sorry about the name. : (
Anyway, enjoy the book. It's a start of a wonderful series.

Excited to be picking for you this month, and had so much fun perusing your TBR shelves! I hope I found something you might like here....I had a hard time narrowing it down. I seriously..."
Hi Megan,
I've gotten ahold of an audiobook version of on the edge but probably won't be able to start a buddy read this week (talked myself into starting a blog *rolls eyes, smacks head on desk). I'm away this weekend so is next weekend okay for you?

Here are your recs:
My Faves:
1. I'm starting with my faves because I would really like for you to read The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner. It is one of my all time favorite series. If you are going to read it there is a specific way you should go about it: just read it. And experience it. Don't research it too much. And don't look too closely at the synopses of the next books in this series. It will be worth it. Okay, Okay. I'm putting my inner fangirl away, now!
2. Masques by Patricia Briggs
You seem to generally enjoy her books and out of her older books I like this one best. The new addition of this book came out recently and close behind it Patricia released a sequel to it as well. I think this is one of the first books she wrote and its wonderful! Don't miss it!
New To You:
3. Ender's Shadow by Orson Scott Card.
If you liked Ender's Game even a little, I think you will like Ender's Shadow ten times more. I did. Bean is smarter than Ender and in my opinion, more interesting.
4. The Smoke Thief by Shana Abé
This book has dragons, love and a very good thief.
My TBR:
5. A Bad Day for Sorry by Sophie Littlefield
Stella sounds like a kick ass woman.
6. Cold Sight by Leslie Parrish
Nalini Singh really liked.
From Your TBR:
7. Hard Day's Knight by Katie MacAlister
This book made me want to go out and join a Renaissance Fair! Although in real life it wouldn't be as much fun.
8.Natural Born Charmer by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
I remember laughing my butt off in the beginning and crying my eyes out at the end. Great read!
Thats all! Have fun!

Next weekend is great! Just let me know when you're starting so I can start that day too. I might try and get my hands on the audiobook as well!

I've had First Grave on the Right sitting on my coffee table for 2 weeks, I borrowed from the library!! Thanks for the pick, I start on this one..."
Yay! Of all my picks I thought this would be the most outside of your box and the one I really hoped you choose. I LOVED this book, I just started #2 in the series and I've already added #3 to my TBR. I hope you enjoy it!

From Your TBR
1. The Unsung Hero by Suzanne Brockmann
2. Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Ione
3. Highlander Untamed by Monica McCarty

New to You
1. Bitten by Kelley Armstrong
2. Crazy Hot by Tara Janzen
3. Frontier Woman by Joan Johnston

My Favorites
1. Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
2. To the Edge by Cindy Gerard
3. Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh

From My TBR
1. Hard Evidence by Pamela Clare
2. Spider's Bite by Jennifer Estep
3.Lord Of The Isles by Debbie Mazzuca

I hope you find something to interest you. I noticed you like historical, romantic suspense and paranormal. So I tried to give you choices for each category.
Enjoy,
Cathy C

From Your TBR
The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss. You really enjoyed..."
Thanks Jane for so many interesting recommendations!
I'll definitely read Faefever - "on deck" is a baseball expression that refers to the player next in line to bat...in my case, these are the books I'm planning to read in the next few weeks.
I'll try to also read Hot Head too but don't know if I'll be able. Now that I have an iPad, I'm trying to read my print books so I can get rid of them but so far I haven't been very successful. :)
I've heard a lot of things about the Arcane Society and the Dark Hunter books but I'm always scared to start series that have a lot of books published (don't know why, LOL!) I'll get the Kindle sample and if I like them, I'll definitely read them. ;) The same with the Linnea Sinclair book. ;)
Thanks for the recs!

Thanks for the recommendations. I am planning on reading :
Spider's Bite by Jennifer Estep
Heartbreaker by Julie Garwood
Saving Grace by Julie Garwood
Soulless by Gail Carriger

I did have one person say in advance that they would not be posting until Sept. 1, I will wait until later tonight to send out reminders to the ones that haven't made recommendations yet.

Here are my picks for you, hope you find a good one!
From Their TBR: You don't have any on your TBR list(talk about pressure for a newbie!) So I just..."
I LOVED Naked in Death - I actually finished it halfway into my second flight last night because it was so good I couldn't stop reading! I am so glad that you recommended it, or I probably would have put off reading it for a long time. Now I can't wait to read the next ones (I will wait until after this challenge, though, because I want to read the others you suggested, plus I am in another challenge on GR that I need to finish.)
You did a GREAT job picking for me, and yes, I love mysteries. Now that I am retired, though, I am looking forward to branching out and reading all kinds of things. That said, I am tired of reading the vampire, supernatural, werewolf, etc. kinds of books, because I had to read so many of them for the teens in my school who seemed to devour them faster than I could read and recommend them - at least for a while. I'll probably go back to some later, but for now, I am happy to be reading mysteries, romances, and whatever else comes up.
Thanks again for picking such good things! I'm not sure which one I will pick next, because I am in Florida and away from the ones that I currently own, so I may check out a bookstore here for the ones that I still need to buy. Chance to buy books...woo-hoo!

Great! I look forward to reading it when you're ready!

Definitely read Julia's Chocolates - it is one of my all-time favorite books. You will laugh, cry, and not be able to stop reading. Once you read it, we can talk more about it.
"
I have a copy of "The Help" that a friend gave me a couple of months ago. So as soon as I finish the book I am reading now ("One Day"), I will start with that one. I'll let you know as soon as I can get the other book from my library. I am first in the queue, but they are having it sent from one of the neighboring libraries!

@Sarah, all three books are excellent choices and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Here they are!
Hope you like one of them!
"
Thanks Petrid! ;)
I'm thinking Prince of Thorns or Watchers.

Sorry I am just now posting your picks. We didn't have that many books in common so I really hope that you find my choices for you interesting. Right now I am obsessed with lighthearted funny books as you will be able to tell by what I picked. I can always repick if you don't find anything you like. :)
(2 books) From their TBR
The Spellman Files. This series makes me laugh and there are very few books that make me giggle like this one does. It did take me several chapters to catch on to Lisa Lutz's writing style but once I did I fell in love.
Sea Swept by Nora Roberts. I saw that you had a few of her books on your list so I thought you might enjoy this one as well. I absolutely loved this series.
(2 books) New to Them
Agnes and the Hitman This is another funny book. The story line is cute and the characters are hilarious.
The Hunger Games. My son turned me onto this series and I am glad that he did! It didn't seem like it would be something that I would enjoy but I was pleasantly surprised. I can't wait for the movie to come out.
(2 books) Your Favorites
Well, I obviously picked these because they are some of my favs...there is a reason that people are always recommeding these two.
The Help
How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf
(2 books) From your TBR
A Quick Bite. I just got this book and haven't had a chance to start yet.
Water for Elephants I want to read this before I rent the movie.
Again, if you dont see anything that interests you let me know, I can always pick again.
Happy Reading!!!!

Thanks for the great recs Cathy C! I'd like to eventually read all of them, but I'll start with [book:Redeeming Love|11422] & then see if I have time to read any of the other recs.

Here are your September recommendations. Sorry it took so long.
(2 books) From their TBR –
1-The Scent of Shadows This book was really good. It has a different type of story but I had a hard time putting it down.
2-The Trouble With Magic This book is a bit light but it has a good story
(2 books) New to Them - We seem to like a lot of the same books but I you didn't have these two on your
TBR list.
3-The Face of Deception This is the book that got me hooked on forensic mysteries.
4-Something from the Nightside This is a great urban fantasy book sort of similar to the Dresden books but different.
(2 books) Your Favorites -
5-Date Me, Baby, One More Time This is a fun read
6- A Quick Bitethis is the beginning of a great series.
(2 books) From your TBR – I've been wanting to read both of these for quite a while. I had a hard time narrowing these down. I would do a buddy read if you were interested.
7-Death's Daughter
8-The Accidental Werewolf
I hope you find something you like in these recs.

Hi Katie - I think I will be reading [book:Lover Eternal

I am definitely interested in doing a BR for The Accidental Werewolf. In fact, I picked it up off the shelf a couple times this week for the NJ category in the monthly challenge. I kept putting it back and ended up going a different route. My ESP at work, LOL. Just let me know when you'd like to start.
I've read a few other things by Stephanie Rowe and enjoyed them, so I'll probably give Date Me, Baby, One More Time a shot too.
I may give Vicki Pettersson's book another go, too. I started it once a long time ago and couldn't get into it. The series has a lot of fans, though, so I kept in on my TBR to try again at a later date. I'll see how the month goes.

It was interesting to go through your bookshelves and sort out the recommendations. We have some similar taste in books and I hope you like the recommendations I made f..."
You're welcome!
Alright, we can then do a buddy read on Blood Law but I would be available to do it in a week or so.
Sana

This was my last 5 star read Shell - only last month - but it was wonderful. (I love The Little Prince quotes too.) ...And it is getting harder for me to rate something 5 stars...

DG: Do you want to buddy read Faefever or Hothead? I have them both and they are both ones I was planning to read sometime soon...
I'm glad you found some books. I had trouble working out what to recommend as you had already read so many I would otherwise suggest OR you hadn't continued the series due to not rating the first book well (eg Carpathians series by Feehan). When I did the 'compare books' function - you had read every book and I had only read half! LOL!

From your TBR:
1. The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
2. Mr. Maybe - Jane Green
New to You:
1. Tempting the Beast (Breeds # 1) - Lora Leigh
2. Moon Call..."

Thanks for the great picks Shellbelle! Anything that wasn't already on my TBR is being added now. I'm definitely going to get to First Grave on the Right and Magic Strikes. And I've been wanting to check out Susan Mallery so now I'm happy that I have a good place to start. I think I can do Deeper Than Midnight too so let me know if you want to buddy read that. Thanks again for the great choices!

This month, I'll either read The Summoning or Extreme Exposure.
And Ana, I'll be getting your picks up tonight!

If it is anything like the first book I know I will

Adela ~ picks for ~ Chanelle Ionie

From their TBR
The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley - I recently read this book & I loved it. Some people find it to be a hit or miss, but you don't know until you give it a shot!
Love in the Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas - I love Lisa Kleypas! I'm not as far in this series as you, but I definitely encourage you to keep reading.

New to Them
Once and Always by Judith McNaught - One of the best authors of historical fiction I have ever read!
The Bride by Julie Garwood - This book was what I read for my first PIFM Challenge. Great story & I'd love to pass on the wonderful recommendation

Your Favorites
The Princess Bride by William Goldman - One of the most entertaining books I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Full of comedy, action, & romance!
The Iron Duke by Meljean Brook - This may be a bit different from your regular read genres, but the steampunk twist on a historical romance definitely makes it more interesting, in my opinion.

From your TBR
The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner - A book we both have on our TBR lists, but feel free to read it alone if you'd like!
The Spymaster's Lady by Joanna Bourne - I've heard great things about this book. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to read it. Perhaps you can give it a shot & let me know how you like it!
