message 169: by Lit Bug (Foram) (new)

Lit Bug (Foram) | 1354 comments I thought it was a pun - getting a way and perhaps getting away as well - or it must be my brain reading too much into it :P

message 170: by Muddle head (new)

Muddle head (adic) | 4646 comments of course it is a pun. The main protagonist is acquitted of his wife's murder, but within 24 hrs his lawyer is found dead and this guy admits to the second murder. 30 pages into the book, got it on RAPO :)

Am losing my mind juggling so many novels
Tokyo Cancelled - paperback - at dining table
Lazybones-audio - jogging/ironing clothes
Oryx and Crake
Canada
Paper Towns-on my mobile - while waiting for things to happen (queues, waiting for car etc.)
I know its a bad habit, but I am never satisfied if its only one or two books

That's why the books must be of different genres. I am reading only two simultaneously but as both are crime stories, sometimes I am confusing between some of the characters.
