What are you reading?
I am half way into
by Brom and finding it heartbreaking, terrifying and beautiful all at the same time. It is a very dark retelling of Peter Pan. I love the illustrations with it!

I recently tried
, his take on Santa, but couldn't finish it, it was too bizarre.

I agree. I have read 'When Demons Walk' and really liked it. I haven't read any of the other books in the series, but I plan to read them all.
I am starting Succubus Dreams. I hope I like the story. The 1st two books weren't all that good, but I liked a lot of the characters and want to like the series. I really do.
comes out today!!!!! Really excited to read this one. Darn I have to be at work right now. Also excited for
.
I am just starting
by Nina Kiriki Hoffman. If someone would have told me what it was about before I started, I might not have wanted to read it, but I am really liking it! Is very strange!

I actually bought
for my Kindle and I rarely do that, preferring to buy the hard copy if I buy a book at all, just so I could read it as soon as possible. I have a Niko/Cal addiction.
I put aside
by Michael Crichton after reading over a quarter of it. I picked it up in a library promotion: go on a Blind Date with a book. Great promotion, book wasn't for me, today.I am now reading
.I'm also hoping to get
today or tomorrow in the mail, but I'm not up-to-date in my Cal & Niko reading...

That's actually how I'm reading it - it's my current commuting book! I really like the Day voice actor - he's very talented!

I'm excited to read
but Cal and Niko take priority for me. About halfway through
and it's pretty good.

together in one box! It was so tempting to start reading Slashback right away, but I'm making myself finish the two books I already have going first.

I don't have that kind of self control with a book I have been waiting a long time for :)
Christine wrote: "Those are two awesome series! Are these first time reads for you? If so, enjoy. ."Thanks Christine. Yes, they are first time reads. I am pretty new to UF so there are many great series in store for me.
Hi,Right now I am reading Wicked a YA. Interesting story but it reminds me of another author's YA that I read.
I'm reading YA because I am trying to write a YA actually I want to write a New Generation, college age to about 25. I belong to RWA and to the Charlotte chapter. Its great we have workshops once a month. Check out our website and come visit.
I read paranormal, supernatural, mysteries all with Romance.. I finished Frost Bone on the 6th. I liked it and was sorry that i read it so quickly. Briggs' books are keeper and maybe in a few years I may read them again. Probably will. After a while you forget what happened in the earlier books.
There are so many authors I am waiting for, its great.
I am really behind in my reading I must have at least 110 books to read between the Sony, Nook, and Ipadand ones I've bought. I can't die until I've read all the books. What's cool too is that my husband and I share books. Especially fantasy.
Finished
. I knew I'd love this one!Started
. It's got the best reference to LOTR in it I've seen in awhile.
I couldn't finish A Modern Witch. The story had no plot to speak of and was boring. I'll try Storm Born.
Just finishing "Wait for You" by J. L. Armentrout.(J. Lynn) As always she does not disappoint! Loved it.
I am just starting
bySeressia Glass
Up to now it seems original and a lot of the magic seems to be based on Ancient Egyptian Mythology.

I read one of the books in this series, and it was pretty good.
I'm reading
, which isn't UF, it's historical fiction set in the 1920's in Kansas. Published in 1963, many reviewers here compare it to To Kill a Mockingbird, but this has a black protagonist and mostly black characters.
I'm reading
and loving it. I avoided it for ages because I haven't had great luck with Gaiman's other books, but now I'm seeing why it comes so highly recommended. It really captures that sense of wonder that good world-within-world series are imbued with, as well as quite a few hilarious moments.
