May have to check out LETHAL OUTLOOK. I disliked the last one so much, this would have to be an improvement if it's any good at all!
Have finished both An Uninvited Ghost and Old Haunts by E.J. Copperman. I love the snarky voice of the main character in these. Lots of humor and some great one-liners.

Thanks for the info!!

"BUYING TIME" by Kelly Cochran....
#1 in a new series.
I really liked this one. Esp. Aspen.(lead female character)

Ooh can't wit to get this one. Its one of my favorites series.

If you liked the ones previous to Vision Impossible, I think you'll be happy with Lethal Outlook - it was very much back to the pre-CIA standard.

I love this series - I could care less about the fashion name-dropping, but I do love vintage and a bit of paranormal, and I love the relationships in this book and in this series - they are always warm, loving, witty, and snarky. Oh - and a good mystery too! lol

I REALLY didn't like this one! All the ..."
Same here - no fashion sense at all but LOVE this series.

geesh, now I have to buy a book just to find out what that name is. lol....

Heather, what did you think of this book? Its on my tbr list. =)
Melissa: I love the "Cats in Trouble" series and this one was a pretty good addition. I loved Finn and Yoshi (and that's all I'm saying on them...grin).

I Amelia is my favorite character I've "met" so far this year.

:) I cannot spell well enough to look words up in the dictionary.
And if I get lucky with the spelling, I have typo's. We know what you meant. :)

Sometimes there are an awful lot of them, but I have tried some really good ones from the Hannah Swensen books!

I usually skip over the recipes as I read the story but when I get to the end of the book, I go back and look them over more closely to see if I want to try any of them. I agree with Melodie, there are some really good ones out there for anyone that likes to try new recipes. I was suprised to see recipes in the Booktown Series by Lorna Barrett.

Gaudy Night starts out from Harriet Vane's POV (there are a few books between 'Strong Poison' and 'Gaudy Night' but you won't really miss them....) but soon Lord Peter shows up (and the nephew is in it too)...
Gaudy Night is one of my all time favorites, so beautifully written...
and really interesting w/regards to relationships. I hope you'll read it.

I recently started reading the Faith Fairchild series and like some and not others. There's an awful lot of label naming and food snobery, but Faith admits she won't buy off-the rack- and is a food snob, so I just skip over those parts.

I'm now reading Uneasy Spirits
