This weekend I go to a cat fair, so I hope to see a cat like him :D

Oh good. This is on my to read list and sounded like it would be good. I've read Sarah Graves Home Repair is Homicide series which is also set in Maine. Enjoyed it. Thanks Caroline!

I returned this unread. I knew it was going to be bad when I was reading the character list at the beginning of the book and was already irritated. I think I'm done with her.

I have Heidi! Actually, that first book was the best, the second one pretty good, but the next two were just OK. But, I will read the new one that comes out in April. Let us know if you read anymore ;)

Farm Fresh Murder - I enjoyed this book quite a bit more than I thought I would, based on what I'd heard. I found the characters to be likeable, although the protagonist was a bit proud - humility is a bit more attractive in a character, imho. Sense of place was excellent and I had no trouble imagining the farm community in South Carolina. I figured out whodunit early on in the story but I still enjoyed reading through to the end. I'm looking forward to the next one in the series.
Hula Done It?, G'Day to Die and Norway to Hide. - I needed Norway to Hide for both my Autumn and Clue challenges and I need to read a series in order. I definitely liked the last books of the series far more than the first. The plots seemed more solid and Emily less flighty. All in all, it's too bad the series ended, but at least the author ended it on her terms, so no loose ends.

I really like this series Heidi..the books make me want to be more organized(never sticks though). The latest book ended in a cliffhanger..so I am waiting impatiently for the next one to come out!

I liked this one and it wasn't too fluffy. I don't remember liking or disliking any of the characters. I intend to read more of the series, just haven't gotten them yet.

I've got this one coming up soon in The Pile!

Thank you for remembering it to me. I've included the series in ficfact.

I don't like this series. I find the main character annoying. Is this the series where she brings her kids to interview suspects? If so, then I thought she was stupid and a bad mother too. I had to stop reading this series.

I've just barely started this one, but I loved the other 2 so don't expect this one to be any different!

Hope you are feeling better!

Leslie- I totally agree with you! I loved this book! I can't wait for the next one to come out! I loved Angus too. Reading the book made me want to run out and rescue an Irish Wolfhound!

Me too Caitlin...Angus was one of the best characters..besides Jill..ha ha

I wasn't sure if I would like this one, but I really enjoyed it. Since I have spent some time on the Oregon Coast, I also found it had a good sense of place.

Me too. Me too.
I've just finished
and I've liked a lot. I've liked the main character and the writing, not as feisty as a lot of books now. I'm definitively reading the next one.

I'm not crazy about Sheila Connolly at all. I don't care for her "Apple Orchard" series, so never even thought about this one at all.

Melodie, I thought, I would give it a read with it being a new-series and all. To tell you the truth, the writing wasn't bad it was the story line and the main character that just came up flat.
I don't think I'll be read the next book in this series at all.

I'm reading

I really liked this one! I had it figured out pretty early on, but I liked the characters and I LOVED the cat!

Aww that doesn't make me feel good. I was going to start this book tomorrow. Maybe I'll hold off and read something else.

I just finished this one too! I listened to it on audiobooks, so perhaps that is why I liked it. I also liked the couple dynamic it reminded me of Hart to Hart (old tv show).
