"Jack West Jr. And The Hero's Helmet" by Matthew Reilly will be out on the 1st of September. It is a short story and a prequel to the Jack West Jr. series. I haven't been able to find a link for it yet on here.

The Murder of Stephen King by James Patterson and Derek Nikitas 1/11/16 (Thriller)

I wonder if this is Patterson's attempt at finally taking a stab at King who has constantly dismissed and criticised his work. According to Patterson, this book was one of his "best kept secrets" before announcing it yesterday. Should be interesting!

Brilliant - is not a large book - the paperback version is 140 pages.

King was apparently given an advance copy. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he ended up releasing a short story in response that dealt with the murder of James Patterson. He certainly has the imagination for it.

In all seriousness though, if you take King out of the equation, it actually sounds like one of his typical thrillers that features a unique and interesting villain.

I really enjoy watching the Graham Norton show and was surprised to learn he is about to have a novel released - he has done two autobiographies but this is a murder mystery set in a village in Ireland - it has gone onto my wish list

I was aware of it because of the film but wasn't sure when it was coming out. Apparently this will be the first of five screenplays/films.
