Mortal Instruments vs. Twilight

I like both. But as far as books are concerned I prefer TMI over Twilight. I did not read all of the Twilight series because I could not deal with Edward and Bella being depressed all the time. It just weighed me down as a reader. There was very little humor in Twilight and that is what I loved about TMI was the action and humor that Twilight lacked.
