The only thing going through my head is some random patient or someone hits on Rosemarie and he won't leave her alone then Raven seed and gets mad and... yeah. That's the only thing that came to mind. Let's just put that one in our back pocket as a plan Z.

Me: What comes to my mind is a sort of...counter-fight. What would occur, for instance, if Rosemarie got Raven really angry again--just at something other than her? What if she found him another target to wail on? By the end of it, he might feel better. Perhaps. But that's like a plan H.

See, this is why I like The Woods. There are all sorts of ways to get them back together in there. He could be defending her from demons. Or they could hunt together. Something like that.

But the asylum...it's so counterproductive. It's basically just a prison which reinforces all his negative feelings at every turn because it's small and negative memories are everywhere. There's no escape from it, which just makes one enormous, vicious cycle.

Me: Oooh! What if Rosemarie tells him she wants to try and break out of the asylum for him? So he can be really happy like he said he would be if they ran away together? She could tell him she thought that was the only way to make him happy if they escaped together and she tries making plans about it and he just gets touched or something by her attempt to make him happy even though she probably wouldn't make it out or somethig.

Me: ...Why don't we go simpler? Why does there have to be some big complicated plan? Can they not simply bond?

For example, I was thinking about how Christmas went over in the asylum last year, and this year I was thinking that Raven could make Rosemarie a gift (I won't say anything else until December; it's a surprise. XD) Could she not do something like that? Actions speak louder than words. If she really wants to be back together with him, you'd think she'd be able to think of a way to earn back his trust and therefore his love. To show him that his doubts don't make sense without behaving a desperate fashion like she did in the graveyard, for example. Wouldn't you say so?

Me: I'm doing Cherokee research, hoping to find some sort of tradition or ritual-like thing for loved ones to show that they love each other. Not naming, but an action so it's sentimental.

Or Rosemarie could always give him a bouquet of roses with a fake rose and say she'll love him until the last flower dies.

Me: My plan is that Rosemarie makes a scrapbook or a journal or something of the sort, and writes down/draws and then captions/whatever every wonderful thing about him and their relationship that she can think of. The first time they really kissed. Their date. Certain things about him that really stand out to her, physical or otherwise. And she can leave it outside of his dorm with his roses.


In fact, if you like the plan, I just had an idea to expand it--and possibly make sure this sort of thing never happens between them again.

Me: Silvy, the scrapbook/journal/whatever you want it to be doesn't have to end. It can be ongoing (either because they keep adding pages or because they make several volumes) and each time they fight, whoever bears the brunt of the aftermath will go to the project and read everything that's previously been done over again, and then on top of that they have to add however many entries. Raven and Rosemarie can make a pact over it, promising to adhere to the "rules." That way, the fissure between them can never get this wide again; too many happy memories in one place. And it will certainly never grow to big to mend.
