these were definately books that stuck with me...2 days after finishing book 3, I was still fustrated by the ending!
Yes I loved Roman actually! I began liking Seth in the 2nd book but warning have the tissues ready for the 3rd book because what happens upset me so much I stopped reading. I have the 4th and 5th ready to go but I had to take a break because I got so into the series and the 3rd book upset me!!!
Actually I think that compared to Dark Swan and Vampire Academy, this series is the least good. There wasn't a thrill, the endings lacked Mead's usual twists and action, and the dialogs(with Georgina and her friends) were dull. The characters were okay, though.
So I don't see what's the fuss all about.
Although I have to mention that nonetheless Mead's is one of my favorite authors!
If I wasn't in a relationship, and my boyfriend wasn't gorgeous I WOULD SO FRIKIN' DATE SETH !!!! But I love my boyfriend he's a great guy :)

Tammy wrote: "I love this series!! :-) I think I am a bigger Roman fan than Seth. Can't wait for the new book!!"I really love Roman too because at least Georgina can be with him without sucking his life force but I love Seth too.
me too...i'm trying to hold out, so that the last one is available around the time I finish the 5th one...I love the series, but it definately isn't a read back to back type series (at least for me)Jennifer wrote: "Dee wrote: "I started Succubus Heat in audiobook last night...so far so good"

I loooooooove Roman, he's just so perfect in the book(apart from the whole angel offspring thing) love love love love love love love love love love looooooooove him!
finished succubus heat up the other day - really enjoyed it, but wanted to slap georgina soo many times...
Me too! I read the first two back to back, but have taken a bit of a break as I've been reading other fav's. Gonna have to dive in, and will definitely have book 4 ready right after I finish 3!!
book 5 was really good too...I managed to wait 2 weeks between 4 and 5...now i'm in a holding pattern until book 6 comes out...only 6 weeks to go
I read all of them back to back and then the Black Swan series. I couldn't stop! Even though I thought both heroines made immensely stupid choices and decisions I couldn't stop reading the train wrecks. I would read Vampire Academy but I hate YA ..

I recommend giving it a try even though it is YA. It has my all time favorite character Addrian Ivashkov who comes in the second book.
Alese wrote: "Did anybody else have a hard time putting this book down? It was a non stop thrill ride from start to finish.. I was actually supposed to clean before I read.. oops.. I MUST GET MY HANDS ON THE SEC..."This has to be one of my all-time favorite series. I'm waiting for the sixth which I heard is the final book in the series. Each book has been amazing. I can see myself shedding tears when I finish it.
By the way, I'm a huge Roman fan. Just love, love, love him.
I so agree. I do like Seth but Roman, there's just something about him - the way the author characterized him that makes me just want to...I don't know - jump his bones!? lol
yeah, Roman loved Georgina even after all those things she'd done. that love is admirable and i think the main reason he went back to Seattle was because of her.
I love Roman too! I really didn't even like Seth in the first book and wanted her to run away with Roman. In the 2nd book I did fall for Seth but when Roman came back I felt sad that Georgina rejected him. He is so hot!
I'll be honest and greedy and said I liked Roman as the more extracurricular sort of daring guy. But with Seth he is more my speed. Although I think with someone like him I could easily get him to take time away from writing so much. ;) But I don't think Georgina ever really tries. Speaking of Georgina I hate how she runs so hot and cold. And also she reads so normal that I barely feel that she is a paranormal creature at times. But since the series is coming to a close with the recent book coming out. I will finish the series eventually. Up to the third one though.
I'm up to date, waiting for the last book. I must admit, I was having a hard time getting into the series. I mean, it's good but I hated it, just hated that Georgina was constantly being cornered into choices. Yes she survived and became the heroines but she was not in control. As I was reading it I kept thinking, so much aches and pain, I must be a masochist to put myself into this series...and it finally paid off in the 5th book. Bottom line, patient mashocist, never knew I had it in me. Can't wait for the last one.
BTW, I love Roman too. It bugged me to death, for someone who has Seth's characters can love 2 people at the same time. Even though I loved what Carter said about Seth loving both of the girls differently, but I still can't fathom someone like Seth, loved and knew Georgina so deeply and yet marrying someone else. My heart just continued to ache for those three, it's not funny. Maybe I'm not made to read UF bc I'm too engrossed in the character. sigh...
I was really rooting for Roman even after I found what he was. His character was really brilliantly drawn. I loved this book and immediately read the second one and I am about to start the third. I don't remember the last time I was this drawn in by a series. I have to say I was so surprised because though I finished Vampire Academy I was not a fan.
I'm thinking of reading it over bc I'm missing some clues. Did Seth say the first time he saw Georgina, she wore cream or something? I read the first time Georgina saw Seth at the book store, she was in floral top and purple skirt...wonder if Seth is referring another lifetime???? I'm thinking of borrowing the books again, bc as of the 5th book, I don't really know who's who...
Great series..loved them all..Iam a Roman fan... I like Seth but he just seemed a little shady with the whole getting engaged to the friend..my second pic for georgina would be doug...he just seems cool..
I was sooooo mad when Seth slept with Maddie. My heart went iced for Georgina. I was too intuned with Georgina now that I think of it, I don't think I can put myself through all her pains, aches and aggrivations again...
That's what I love about this series. Even though this is a paranormal story, Georgina comes across as a real person, not someone with Succubus powers; she goes through so many emotions because of Seth. As a reader you can feel her pain, her love, etc. My heart broke for her when she realized that Seth was going to propose Maddie. I'm all for Roman. He rocks! What are the chances that Georgina will end up with him??
Does anyone know for sure if this is it? No more after book 6?
I don't know, i think Roman knew he lost her when Georgina was all lid up with determination for Seth and making it work through thick and thin. Roman is so much better for Georgina, he was all stand by to protect Georgina ...even more so than Seth...but Seth did the impossible finding her soul among all souls...sigh, I'm so torn.BTW, I think book 6 is the last book of the series.
Yea I've heard book 6 is the last one as the author recently had a baby I believe. So she might be slacking up on some book writing for a bit me thinks.
there was only ever going to be six books in the series - she said that from the get-go - I think her baby is due soon, if she hasn't had it already - and on her blog, said last 2012 before we see something new potentially...
Well, I'll be shedding a tear or two when I come to the end. This is one of my all-time favorite series.
Now that I know that there are only six books, I am going to slow down and really enjoy them. I really love this series.
So Succubus Revealed comes out Aug.30th. You can pre-order it now though. If you type into the goodreads search engine Succubus revealed and you can add it to your to-read and wishlist section. I haven't heard her say anything about this being the last book, but who knows! I hope not cause I love, love, love Georgina! I don't think she can be summed up in one more book honestly. I think there is too much going on.
I'm going to get it when it comes out but probably won't be able to read it for a while as I've got a pile of books to read before I get to it. Besides, the longer I put it off, the series doesn't end for me.
If you love succubus which how could you not right?! You will love the Immortals after dark by Kresley Cole. They are about different part of the Lore coming together and fighting and falling in love there's 12 of them now and she's still adding more, its quite graphic like succubus and has action too its like the perfect amount of everything! Lol Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris is another good one. Good luck!
Thanks Autumn. I'll check out the Immortals series. As for the Sookie Stackhouse series (which I love), I've read all the books except for the latest. That being said, I think Harris should have ended that series a while ago. I find some authors never get that it might be time to end the series, while others end too soon.
in her July 30th post - she says now that the Georgina and Eugenie books are winding down (referring to Succubus and the Dark Swan series) - from her blog - Georgina's last book, Succubus Revealed, will be out August 30
Thanks Autumn, I will check out the series. I have so much to read right now that it might be awhile, but I will take note of it.
I loved this book, I thought Seth was going to be the bad guy because he seemed to quite and to himselgf just watching everything and everyone and Roman knew how to treat a lady, but i was suprised and in a good way the book was very easy to read and kept you involved, I will be reading more of these
