I'm guessing you mean post #1197 - I just looked at it, and you didn't claim a GR author ticket there. You must specifically claim that.
Two reasons: first, not everyone claims GR author and BB tickets - the ONLY thing these give you is a chance to possibly create a task, so if you're someone who expects to complete the challenge, there's no reason to do this. Someone who completes the challenge is not eligible for the 20 point tasks. Also, some people just aren't interested in creating a task - in that case, again, listing GR authors and BB pages just adds to the record keeping duties of the mods, without any benefit to the participant. So, if you want to claim a GR author ticket, you must explicitly claim it.
Secondly, it's not realistic to expect the moderators to check every author listed in your post, to see if s/he may be a GR author, and then to decide that you probably want to claim a ticket.
If you realize that you forgot to claim a GR author ticket in your post, you need to do a new post, explaining that you're doing it to claim a GR author ticket (so that we'll know you're not reporting a new task) and giving the information necessary (original post #, task #, book and author).

Sorry, I guess I was just too eager to get all my stuff on the board. I'll repost now. (Obviously, vacation softened my brain.)

Do you want me to repost the other task I had on the message with my corrected points totals?
Sorry for my stupidity. I blame the heatwave...
Thanks, I used your info on setting since there wasn't one in the book description.
No need to post to correct your total- I have 355 as your total

Sorry very belated reply, It is about the author's view of portland and his experiences of it (he lives there), it is billed as the closest thing he will ever write to an autobiography. It tells stories of where he threw his tonsils and the like.

Now that I've edited my post, can I please claim the 3 tickets for the book?

Please repost in the completed task thread with the necessary info for the big book ticket. Editing a post doesn't work - there are too many posts for us to go back and find old ones to see if they've been edited.
Post the correct link and the original post #/task, and please indicate that you're doing this to claim a BB ticket, so that there's no confusion about this being a new task.
Thanks.

It's finally summer vacation, and I'm getting caught up! As I was posting a bunch last night, I checked the readerboard as well. I read Bitten, and my copy has 518 pages, but I haven't received credit for it. That was in Post 511. Thanks for checking into this!

The link you provided for THE BOOKS OF RACHEL does not give any page numbers. If you read this on kindle (which is what the link shows) and there isn't a page number for kindle, you need to refer to the rules on ebooks without specific page numbers.
5. When determining page count, you should go by the copy you read. Therefore, if you obtain (own, borrow, check out from the library, etc.) the hardback edition, use the page count for the hardback edition. If you obtain the paperback edition, use that page count. If you read an electronic version of the book and an eBook page number is given on Goodreads then use that page count.
However, if there is no page count for the electronic edition, use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardback edition.

Charles Finch is not noted as being a GR author. You also indicated Jacqueline Winspear as a GR author - she isn't noted as being one, and even if she were, you can't claim a GR author ticket for using her as the starting point to find another book.
Before claiming a GR author, please check either the book page or the author bio. If the author is a Goodreads author, the main book page will indicate that in parentheses after the author's name. Or, if you look at upper right hand corner of the GR bio, that will indicated that the person is a GR author, if s/he is.
