For some reason I didn't like Artemis Fowl when I first started reading it. I gave up, but someone at work convinced me to try again. I loved it the second time. Go figure...


Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) That's happened to me before. Sometimes it's just a mood thing. Even a great book can be uninteresting if you're not in the mood to read, or are trying to read one genre when you're in the mood for another.

We read Pillars of Earth for a book club, so I forced myself to keep reading. Otherwise, I found it very tedious.
