I'm from Southern California where it's nice year round. This heat sucks!
I'm in the part of Indiana that almost died along with the automotive industry. Pres. Obama has been here to visit more than once.

Helo KatyO! I'm currently living in Eger, but in a month I'm moving to Budapest. I visited once Wien and found it beautiful!
I am from Kent in the Uk, currently reading 'A prayer for Owen Meany' anyone else read it? I'm finding it a bit slow but am willing to do the top 100 classic books! 43 so far....
Hi there! I'm from Malaysia. Name's Ad (pron. Ed) Omar and the word "coffee" and "books" attracted me to this group. Two of my favourite things (among a list of others :) )
Milwaukee, WI here. Some people complain about how there's nothing to do here, but I disagree. I can keep myself amused all year round. The beer is pretty good too :) Since there seems to be a good SoCal/San Diego contingent here, what can a guy do in San Diego? I'm headed out there early November for a weekend. Gonna have a couple days to bum around with some friends before I go watch the Packers beat up the Chargers ;)
I'm from Oregon. I grew up in Southern Oregon, but am going to school up north. But I still go home for summer/breaks, so I just kind of live all over the state, at the moment. But I love it a lot. I'm sure I'll leave one day, but I might just find myself coming back.

GO PAKS. Just sayin. But there are bars and what not. Lots of shopping. Seaworld and zoo down in that general area. Hard Rock Cafe is awesome down there. beach is really pretty but a bit chilly in November.

Been to a couple other ones in the country. I'll have to check it out. Thanks!

Yes. I grew up in a tense rivalry between a Packer fan and a 49'ers fan. I had two cheerleading uniforms from both teams. But I became a cheese head. I even have a cheese head hat :D

I was born in California and lived there for my 1st 10 months. My family of 3 moved to Pennslyvania where a couple of relatives live, but most of my family live in New Jersey, Virginia, or Florida.
I am from KENTUCKY!! =D And totally new to goodreads but lovin it. I work at a library (totally convenient) and someone came in yesterday to check out Fight Club for a book club reading (coincidence??)
I am from Buffalo, NY but I go to school in Cleveland, OH!
Awesome!!!! There are SO many different places. All spread out over the world. I am actually amazed!

I am from San Diego (born and raised in Hawthorne, CA) and just recently re-located to Tampere, Finland. Good to see so many other SoCal's here. :)
Emily wrote: "live in ohio, originally from ma. not enough book lovers around here."canton, kettering sounds familiar but i'm not sure where that is.
I'm from a tiny town in Ireland, which is probably why I read so much, there's nothing else to do. :P
