I'm also from Southern California, but I'm moving to Oklahoma in a week!

I know quite a few people that live in Ada...Depending on where my fiance gets hired on at, we'll be in Shawnee or Norman.

I'm pretty excited...I've been out there a few times a year for the past 3 years, and everyone thinks I'm crazy for leaving San Diego, but I'm very excited.

in Oregon? The rain state? x) Hahaha; nah, but it is really pretty here; all green, with lots of plants growing. My brother was on a mission for our church in Mexico for two years, and when he got back, he thought Oregon was the most beautiful place of all time, hahah.

My grandma moved to Oregon just recently.She says it's beautiful too, so maybe some day I'll go visit her to see just how beautiful it is!

Hi there everyone! I totally didn't see this section when I first joined the group! Well I am from a little town in Ontario, Canada called St. Catharines. It's about 20 minutes away from Niagara on the Lake and 30 minutes away from down town Niagara Falls :P

I've never been to Southern California Rachel, I'm curious about it. Is it a lot of beach landscape and warm weather? lol. (Sorry for the obvious assumption :P)

Well during the July, August and September months it can get toasty. And just the coast it is really beachy and stuff. Going in land it gets warmer and and more humid.
Up the coast is always nice, like San Francisco.
But I live near the beach, closer to Disneyland !

oh wow! See I absolutely adore the beach, I am basically one of those girls who loves the sun, sand, and surf :P Which is ironic cause I live no where near a beach lol. Although living to Disneyland you must get a huge amount of tourist? I definitely understand that seeing as I work in Niagara on the Lake and its huge tourist spot, lol.

Yeah we get TONS of them. Just wandering around! Oh wow! How amazing, you actually WORK there! That place is on my bucket list!
Definitely come it is absolutely gorgeous in the Summer and Fall :) Its a hot spot for photo's and weddings during those season as well, hahah. Nice little historic town and tons of vineyards and we have our own live theatre place that puts on about 11 or 12 performances a year called the Shaw Festival :)

I'm just joining in and I live in Washington State. I love it here, but I am missing a real summer here this year. I am very grateful not to be in the intense heat some of you suffer through, though!

Oklahoma has broken a few records already this summer for heat, and we're close to breaking the record of days over 100 degrees.
Almost every day in July has been over 100.

It really is lovely. So green and nice; I suppose those who live here take it for granted because there's so much rain, we can't be outside all that much, hahaha. But when it's sunny outside, it is GORGEOUS!
