Now reading Blind Lake by Robert Charles Wilson,
Also getting near the end of Salvation by Peter F. Hamilton.

This one is going to get a longer review.

Just started Salvation, the first book in Peter Hamilton's new series. So far it's a typical Peter Hamilton book, lots of detail. Lots.

I just bought it too! But I have a few more books to read before it.

One of my all time favorite creepy Twilight Zone-ish science fiction stories.

Dunno, but a change of editor might explain the difference in the work.

I had a shock when I read it and discovered that the movie from 2000's was not faithful to it.

I thought it relied too much on characters making dumb mistakes or errors in judgment.

edit 11/1/18: Not good. dnf...

So now I have just started Children of Time

It's one of my favorite books in the Alvin maker series. So perceptive and captivating.
