I think I did Sarah's Key as a four star so I agree it is really good. In the past I loved the [book:The Red Tent|4989 as well.

I loved and have reread Mistress of the Revolution by Catherine Delors (Mistress of the Revolution) by Catherine Delors.....absolutely entrancing. Fell in love with French Revolution books. Looking for new awesome books about it. Any suggestions?

Not the French Revolution but a really good book set in France during Napoleon's reign, Desiree by Annemarie Selinko.

Is one of the best books I've read in a long time

Katz Nancy from NJ (nancyk18) Skeletons at the Feast by Chris Bohjalian is one of the best books I've read in 2012. The plot involves three people who are fleeing from germany in 1945 to the West in an attempt not to be found by the Russian Army advancing.

Clara and Mr. Tiffany by Susan Vreeland For sheer fun and entertainment, I really enjoyed The Borgia Betrayal and Poison by Sara Poole. The Borgia Betrayal (The Poisoner Mysteries, #2) by Sara Poole
Poison (The Poisoner Mysteries, #1) by Sara Poole

How was Revolution? Have you read the Tea Rose trilogy? How does it compare to that?

Alana White (httpwwwgoodreadscomalanawhite) | 21 comments Is there a way to pull up a "list" of the books we've reviewed on Goodreads to see exactly how many stars we've given however many books we have reviewed--or do we just have to go to our shelves and look? Thanks:)

Go to your shelves, scroll down to "tools" on the left under your list of shelves and select "stats". Click on "details" from any year to easily see which books you gave however many stars to. Click "view books from (year)" to see it as a list which you can then sort by rating.

I loved The Tea Rose and gave it 5 stars. The next two books, The Winter Rose and The Wild Rose I gave 4 stars to. I thought Northern Light was OK - gave that 4 stars but now want to read An American Tragedy and see the film. I didn't, though, finish Revpolution. For some reason I didn't like that book at all.

Alana White (httpwwwgoodreadscomalanawhite) | 21 comments Thanks to Robin's help, I can say I have given only two books five stars: The Swerve and At Home. Hmmm. Both are nonfiction. The Swerve How the World Became Modern by Stephen Greenblatt At Home A Short History of Private Life by Bill Bryson
