The usual technique that we use won't work for single-name authors. Unfortunately, there is no way that I know of to remove them from your profile. :(

Beth | 2 comments I'm a brand new Librarian and of course, immediately ran into trouble. This edition http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/76... has no details/ISBN/etc but happens to be the most "popular" edition; this edition http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/88... has all the details. But since it has been shelved 6 times I cannot delete it (otherwise I would just put all the details in the other edition and delete the less popular one.) Can a super help? Thanks!

Melody (runningtune) | 13300 comments I think it was the user's attempt to put his writing on Goodreads. People do that with quotes sometime too. They (the quotes or the bogus books) should be deleted - but not marked as spam - which would mean the user should be deleted.

It was spam, Melody. There were links to a scammy site buried in that "writing".
