A Clockwork Orange
by Anthony Burgess
I absolutely loved this book, well worth reading and something I would never have considered picking up before finding this website!

I finished the complete nonsense of Edward Lear last week....brilliant! Thoroughly enjoyed it! The last two books I have read have both played with the English language but in different ways and complete opposites one being incredibly violent and the other written for children. That's what I love about books, the total randomness of it all!

I may have to try this again, Vicky. I started it once, many years ago and just couldn't get past the lingo. Maybe I'm more patient now and would work through that. I'm glad you enjoyed.

I am doing the genre challenge and finding it so much fun that I thought I would join in with the A-Z challenge too! This site is absolutely amazing and has really encouraged me to read more and look at authors and books that I otherwise would never have considered. So, my first completed book in this challenge is Tears of the Giraffe by Alexander McCall Smith so that's M done, one down, 25 to go!!!
