Hello,Just finished Broken Harbor by Tana French.
It's fantastic. This is the fourth book Tana French has wriiten and each and everyone of them is well worth your time.Scorcher Kennedy is the hard-boiled detective with the flawed past whose vulnerabilites devastate him as he tries to solve a case where an entire family is found murdered .
Started The Sealed Letter not really sure if its the kind of book I will like but thought i'd give Emma Donoghue a go. Ive also got Room to read.
I finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and now am reading Multiple Sclerosis,an Enigma by Terry Crawford Palardy.

Earlier today, I finished reading
by Anne Rice. The Witching Hour is an extremely long novel, 1207 pages, but don't let that put you off reading as once you open the first page you soon find yourself completely absorbed in the chilling tale of the Mayfair Witches. This novel has a spellbinding, engrossing, well-written tale with complex and mysterious characters. There are plenty of compelling twists and turns in the plot to keep you interested and the suspense is drawn out to perfection. The novel is completely unpredictable, I found the ending to be quite a shock! My full review can be found here. Now, I'm about to start
by Washington Irving and
by Mary Shelley.
Gitte wrote: "I'm reading Stones from the River by Ursula Hegi."That is a really great book Gitte! It really impacted me a lot!!!! It can get slow at times, but press through because it worth it. I gave it 4 stars.
I just finished Jennie Nash's "The Only Real Genius in the Family." Wonderful book. Especially for those who have lived with highly ctreative people. The main characters are FRUSTRATINGLY real!
Tess wrote: "The 19th Wife"Good reading! I even tried to nominate it for one of monthly reading. But I did not like move, it was very poor.
Reading the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes (suspense)- interesting and only slightly distracting style: switching back and forth page to page from past to present. But so far great story! Good characters - well written. Enjoying it.

I bought it on my Kindle to re-read it because it has been a while. The book is long that's why I bought for my Kindle but it didn't take me long to read it the first time around.
Currently reading
The Casual Vacancy. Heresy, I know, I didn't like the Harry Potter series BUT very much enjoying this.

While I thought it started off a bit slow, and I had some difficulty keeping all the names straight during the first quarter or so, by the end I couldn't put it down.
Finished Multiple Sclerosis,an Enigma by Terry Crawford Palardy and next will read Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë.
I had to write down the characters till I felt comfortable with their relationships, lol. I'm definitely enjoying the small town politics. I find myself thinking about the book when I'm not reading it. Heather L wrote: "Lillie wrote: "Currently reading

Just finished
by Fern Michaels and have now started
by Alexandra Sokoloff. This is the only book by Ms. Sokoloff that I have not yet read.
Finished The Sealed Letter and not really sure what I think of it. I read this quite quickley and it was ok but didn,t really grip me. Reading Others and a goodreads giveaway The Fourth Fog.
Finished The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson at 4am. Had one of those horrible nights where, despite being completely exhausted, you just can;t seem to sleep. I'd manage an hour or two, then be wakened again. So, I read. Good thing I didn't have to get up early this morning! :-\

"Love the Charley Davidson series, such a fun read! Hope you enjoy it, Lily!
I'm reading Invisible Murder by Lene Kaaberbol and Agnete Friis. About 100 pages in and liking it so far.
I'm reading The Daughter of Time but I'm about ready to give up on it. It's very short anyway, and I knew that next I want to read The Shadow of the Wind. But, I ordered that on-line, it is coming media mail, and isn't here yet. What to do, keep reading, or pick up something else.....
Something Wicked This Way Comesby Ray Bradbury just finished and watched movie right away - to be in Halloween mood. Now I'm about to start Handle With Care by Jodi Picoult. I'm also reading Split Second by Alex Kava
finished Huntress Moonby Alexandra Sokoloff over the weekend. A great book. Today I started Glory in Deathby J.D. Robb
Gary wrote: "Just finished

I am ccurrently in the middle of three books..ghost shadow by heather graham..forbidden games by l.j.smith and sleepwalker by wendy Corsi staub..
Earlier I finished reading
by Mary Shelley. This novel turned out to be nothing like what I was expecting. I was expecting a generic horror story about a monster but what I got was so much more complex, it's actually quite a philosophical story really. I was extremely surprised and impressed by the actual story itself. I really enjoyed this book and I'm happy I finally got around to reading this classic. My full review is here. I'm planning to read
by Janet Evanovich next.
Just finished reading George Church's new book called Regenesis: How Synthetic Biology Will Reinvent Nature and Ourselves. The book tracks the evolution of genomics and genetic engineering (now called synthetic biology), and explores current and upcoming developments and technologies in biotech from biomaterials to bioenergy to biomedicine. The book is invigorating and inspiring. I've written a full executive summary of the book at:http://newbooksinbrief.com/2012/10/30...
Cheers,
Aaron
